Wicklow is a historic town and still an operating harbour, in the vicinity of the Wicklow mountains. There's plenty of interest in the town, including the harbour area including the Black Tower, and the Old Gaol museum. There's pubs and restaurants to suit most tastes - I ate at the Blue seafood restaurant on the quay and it was excellent. For lighter meals there are cafes, coffee-houses and bakery tea rooms to from hipster to traditional. I busy, fun town.

The view of the Wicklow Mountains, while immersed in nature, an expansive property complete with Llamas, yoga studio, gardens and a peaceful ambiance throughout the building helped me relax after a very long journey. Truly the garden of Ireland.
Truly the garden of Ireland. So much to see and do that I would have needed AT LEAST a week to have seen everything I was interested in. Beautifully kept villages that were spotless and bustling with people. Local people extremely friendly. Can't wait to come back! I can really recommend a cafe 'Turquoise' for veggie or vegans. The amount of options there was amazing and the food was some of the best I've ever eaten. Along with 'The Happy Pear' in Greystones. You def need a car to get around and I can recommend stopping at Victors Way for a bit of a different experience with lots of unique statues.SaraUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Wicklow is a quaint place and easy to get around if you park your car and walk. There are interesting shops to be found in the town of Wicklow. The surrounding areas towards the mountains is definitely worth exploring. There are great walks and public transport easy to navigate.Sarah

It was in a very safe area and we loved walking in the afternoons with the locals all out with their dogs, walking to Black Castle or having a pint in the evening. Very easy to find your way to Glendalough for a hike and back to the apartment after to scrub up and get a taxi to town for some grub and a couple of well earned pints! We will deffo be back to do more walks in Wicklow in the future and would love to stay here again.
