    Kota seems to be gearing up to become the next big...

    Kota seems to be gearing up to become the next big Rajasthani thing. The area around the bus station has got a pretty pink facelift. A 3km long Ghat area on both sides of the river is in the making, nearly finished. It looks stunning. A new park is nearly finished but not open yet. You can get a bird's eye view from the bridge. Intriguing sculptures are to be found in all the roundabouts. 7 wonders park is open and well worth a look. Add to that an incredible, not yet touristy or overpriced, City Palace and much more. A very rewarding place to visit. And many travellers are passing through anyway, changing bus to go to Bundi.

    It has a single wide road through town.

    It has a single wide road through town. City is known for Education Institutes for IT industry. Everything here has a shady purpose. Sends its students as a Emigration flood to the West. Restaurants are useless, food unclean. Area has bad people. Good for an auto ride through town.

    Beautiful city. Good place to spend family time. Presently all roads are under construction but well managed traffic, not leading to traffic congestion. Swiggy has made the stay more enjoyable. One can enjoy different cuisines from comfort of your room.

    Kota was not our place.

    Kota was not our place. We got there for the easier transportation to our next destination and were immediately confronted with the unbearable noise levels coming from the stream of scooters and other road users. The noise was so intense we could hear it in our room too. What we did like was meeting the loveliest Ricksha driver who looked after us and was kind and helpful.

    Kota itself is not a prepossessing or attractive city.

    Kota itself is not a prepossessing or attractive city. But the glorious Chambal River, largest in Rajasthan, made up for that. I was unwell with asthma and chest infection so didn’t see all the attractions.

    Nothing.. This is the worst hotel so far i have stayed in my life. Its pathetic.. rooms are bad.. not at all value for money... there is nothing nearby.. The worst of them is the staff.. they have no manners and just want to charge for everything .. they will charge for every extra15mins and call 100 times in a day while you are staying.. Should be better to stay anywhere than this place ! Centipedes are roaming in the bathroom..

    The manager refused to allow me and my family to stay although I booked the hotel and paid 50% advance room charges. I couldn't stay and had to look for alternative arrangements to shift my family to another hotel. Very bad experience. Till date didn't got my refund amount also. Will never book through Booking.com and OYO. Return my booking amount immediately. Thanks Partha

    Awful experience. Apart from the hotel infrastructure nothing is good. The cleanliness is extremely poor, there is no staff, the restaurant is absolutely dirty. The rooms, bathrooms nothing is clean or maintained well which is shocking for such a new property.
