I were leaving the hotel early, before the breakfast for the ferry to Heymaey but staff gave us a breakfast pack and a coffee before we left. Great stuff, the guy from Kosovo and a Polish lady in the morning; all very friendly.

This place is about 5 to10mins drive from the nearest main road. Seems like a quiet farm area to me. The key is self collection and you are able to park your vehicle on the premise for free. Everything is so comfy here and it is getting real dark during night hence make it a good spot for aurora hunting. Got the necessary facility in the unit as well. We are the sole guests during that night so can't really comment on soundproofing part that we read from other comments. Overall I would say it is a good place to spend your night at Iceland

Easy access to the south east coast. Well lit and easy to find off the ring road. Studio is comfortable, clean, pleasantly decorated, warm & quiet. Lovely views out to the north Atlantic ocean.

Hoping to glimpse the aurora borealis...consider venturing to a darker, more expansive view north where one is able to park the car to gaze & drink warm beverages.
