This was an exceptional stay! The house is beautiful and the owner was friendly and went out of her way to be helpful . Everything is very clean, the bed and bathroom are of the highest standard. The breakfast was very good. This place would be an excellent central point to explore Basilicata. The owner made helpful suggestions about places to visit which we would never have found. It made our time there very interesting and special . We wished we could have stayed longer. The surrounding mountainous area is superb, with soaring, rocky peaks and lush thick forests below. Don’t miss staying at la Casa Di Giro!

Convenient for the centre of town, very friendly and helpful staff. We were travelling by bicycle and they made sure there was a safe place to store them. Good breakfast and great coffee. Nice room a with modern bathroom.

You can’t beat the location, they have a wonderful view. The elevator worked sporadically. Climbing the stairs 5 floors with suitcases was unpleasant. When we went out to explore in the morning we got locked out and there was no one working the front desk to help us get back in. The rooms were clean and there was a nice breakfast.

Everything was great! My dad and I were visiting our family in Calvello, and the staff recognized our names immediately. We felt very welcome right away, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant was also a hot spot for locals and the food was AMAZING. Highly recommend staying here
