Close to Perugia and Assissi, but with peace and convenience...
Close to Perugia and Assissi, but with peace and convenience away from the crowds. We stayed at Relais del Olmo and ate at the restaurant most evenings. Fabulous spot! Ventured into Ellera for lunch and found La Belle Vie on the corner of Via Antonio Gramsci and Via Verdi. We had the kebab, espresso's and bottled water for less than 15euro. Loved it! We walked and drove in Ellera and took a couple of wrong turns, but managed to recover without incident. We loved the location of Ellera as a great base, as it is close to Perugia and Assissi. We did not use public transport in Ellera as we had the car.
