One one best hotel experience! Comfortable hotel in the ancient castle with it's own tower and dear running around! Rooms are not very big, but it would be too much to ask for that - they are nicely decorated (or preserved). Just wow!

Francesco met us upon arrival and was overall an exceptional host for our whole stay. He made us feel welcome and went above and beyond by booking dinner reservations for us. Our rooms were comforts and spotless. Breakfast was superb. Grazie Francesco.

Everything was good, without being overpriced and pretentious. A family business, there is very good camaraderie among all staff/owners. They ALL work hard - Alessio drives the show, always on hand to help, smiling constantly, and working in the vegetable garden and elsewhere when not with guests. Inez works her magic in the kitchen, and catered extremely well to the vegan among us. There’s a wonderful pool; the rooms are cleaned meticulously; and sorties into Assisi are 15-20 mins away. This is a gem, and for the sake of Alessio and his family should not be hidden, but they should keep doing what they’re doing. It’s working!
