Great location near the centre of town, coast and the harbour for the ferry. Wonderful bright and clean room, great bed and pillows and a basic breakfast of cereals, fruit, toast, coffee, yogurt, tart is provided.
Set on the north-western coast of Sardinia, La Mezzanella Guesthouse is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Porto Torres’s seaside. It offers rooms with a LED TV and free Wi-Fi.

The family lives downstairs and rents out some rooms upstairs. The bathroom (shower/toilet) was across the hall and dedicated just to my room. There is however also a sink and a tap in the bedroom. Enough privacy and everything you need for a short stay. They were very very kind.
The place is a bit old and it feels more like a hosting family than a hotel. All in all I think it is a good deal, especially when you are traveling alone and need a refuge for the night or catching an early ferry.
Offering a garden, L'Ancora Blu is located in Porto Torres, opposite Balai Beach. Sassari is 17 km from the property.

We decided to book the accommodation at very short notice (2 days in advance) because we were not satisfied with our previous booking. This meant we drove another 1.5 hours. What we found then completely exceeded our expectations. A fantastic view, very spacious accommodation that was very well equipped and lacked nothing. Everything was very clean and well equipped. Our host welcomed us via WhatsApp and asked carefully and repeatedly whether everything was okay. We'd love to come back.
Featuring a spa bath, balai suite is located in Porto Torres. The property has inner courtyard and quiet street views, and is less than 1 km from Beach Acque Dolci.

Close to the port for an early morning ferry and the bars and restaurants. Nice to have a sunny (shared lounge) and fridge. There was a lift for luggage.
With a terrace and garden, Il Corallo offers rooms in a modern air-conditioned house in Porto Torres. Each room comes with a balcony, and Wi-Fi is free throughout.

I liked the possibility to prepare my own breakfast ( don‘t like the sweet pastries you get in the cafes — or the large buffets in more expensive places) at the Balai Hotel
Nice shopping place / most beautiful church
Good food at the restaurants along the promenade

We found this town a little boring. Although it is a perfect starting point for a ferry trip to Donkey Island (with bikes rented in town), or for an intermediate stop on a journey, but not worth spending even one full day.

Visiting Porto Torres off season (October) is for those who wants to relax, walk on the beach or rent a bike and discover landscape. Most of the restaurant and shops were closed, bus operation was limited to one line. But still you cen enjoy the nature, sea and views from hill. I recommend visiting ancient roman bath and Porto Romano, bridge made of stone situated north west of the town.

Small town and good local beach with connections to other fabulous beaches outside of town.
Poor information re onward connection to ferry to Barcelona. No show of shuttle bus to ferry at stated time.
We had a wonderful time in this property. Th owners are super friendly and gave us a lot of advices in what to see and do around Porto Torres.
The location is good, walking distance to the harbor and some restaurants and whatever you need in the city. There is a small square just around the corner where if you are lucky you cn find a parking spot, otherwise the harbor park is 10min walk.
Very nice patio! The place is well equipped with everything you may need
The location, directly in front of the marina (pleasure and a few fishing vessels), is superb. 2 min by car from the ferry, also seen a little further away, from the panoramic windows.
We had an apartment, with the three-storey hotel under it. Plenty of space (kitchen-saloon, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a terrace). A minor draw-back, for me @ 1m84, was a somewhat low ceiling-height towards the two ends, but really, no big deal.
We were looking for the closest stay from the port to catch the ferry to France very early the following morning. It was the only place we could book. Location is PERFECT if you are staying for 1 night to catch the ferry and you arrive just to go out for dinner in a great pizza place 2 blocks from the hotel and leave very early the following morning.
We loved the size of the apartment and especially the enormous terrace with the perfect view over the sea. The location is good there are many beautiful beaches in a short walking distance from the apartment. Porto Torres is a perfect place to stay if you want to explore the northwest side of Sardines. We would definitely choose this apartment again.
The room was squeaky clean and had everything we needed. Great location, walking distance to the center of Porto Torres, easy to find street parking. Raffaela, the host, really cared about making our stay enjoyable, she was always available and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and entertainment, even making reservations for us.
We stayed there the night before taking the ferry from Porto Torres. The port is just 5 min away by car.
The facility is quite nice and clean.
There is free parking on the street, however it may be difficult to find a spot during high season.
The guys running the hotel were very nice and helpful.
We got pieces of delicate cakes for the breakfast, along with a wide selection of cookies, juices, and milks. The lady who hosted us speaks very good English and was very helpful and informative. The view from our bedroom was stunning, overlooking the northern part of Porto Torres. Bathroom was very clean.
This place is a cosy little gem of Porto Torres. Has really central location 5 mins to the bus terminal. The room has loads of space and the equipments were great. Plus point for the nice decoration :) The hosts were super nice and helpful and for breakfast you had several beverages stored in the room.
Super easy to come with our bikes because there’s a locked yard space for them. Owner met us and was super kind and accommodating. We had to catch the ferry @430 and there was a self serve breakfast with mostly prepackaged goods and yogurt and juice. BEST BED I’ve slept on in Sardinia and GREAT shower!
A beautiful view from the top floor (4) in a quiet seafront of Porto Torres. We stayed an extra night. Studio had everything we needed. Automatic gate with number code to get vehicles in to secure parking.
It was exactly how I expected from the pictures and reviews. I was very comfortable, especially with air conditioning in the room, which was necessary with the heat of Sardinia.
-Location (the view was stunning and the apartment was located 1min away from the best beach in Porto Torres)
-2 balconies
-large kitchen
-stuff super friendly and helpful
The location was very good and thanks to that it was easy for us to arrive at the port early in the morning. At the same time, the hotel is close to some good restaurants.
