The hosts are also very helpful with everything one might need such as recommendations for landmarks to visit, having food available at the homestay or setting up for jungle trekking. This homestay is also very involved with the community providing afternoon English classes to children and donations for the locals. Definitely a great place to visit and a good cause to support.

Where to begin. This was by far my favorite experience in Cambodia. Living with this amazing family was so exciting! Now, you can’t be expecting luxury, 5 stars etc, but when you’re ready to fully dive into a local family’s life & home, then look no further. Pov and his wife & kids are so welcoming & kind and try their best to make your stay perfect. I didn’t have time to do big jungle treks, so instead, Pov took me around the area, visiting the best spots, and let me hang out with him and his friends in the evenings! Him and his wife also made sure I wasn’t starving, and even cooked vegan meals for me. I loved my time here and would definitely come back! Maybe in the future! Choul mouy my friend!
