Modern en compleet chalet 22-15, hotel in Putten

Modern en compleet chalet 22-15 offers accommodations in Putten, 14 miles from Apenheul Primate Park and 15 miles from Het Loo Palace.

Very nice host, they were welcoming and tried to meet all of our requests. We went with our 6 month old baby and they offered a crib and baby chair. They received us with cookies. The cabin had all amenities and was nicely decorated. Very nice stay overall. The only thing to say is the baby room didn't have heating so it was a bit cold. The host offered an electric stove but I would have preferred central heating as in the rest of the cabin.

Located in the heart of the Netherlands, Putten is a picturesque gem that offers a delightful blend of historical charm and natural beauty. This tranquil town, with its traditional Dutch architecture and lush green surroundings, provided an authentic and serene Dutch experience. Putten's intimate size and welcoming atmosphere made navigating the town a breeze. With friendly locals always ready to help, we never felt like strangers. The town's quaint shops and restaurants added a unique, rustic charm to our visit, offering a delightful array of local goods and cuisine. The real treasure of Putten, though, lies in its natural beauty. The town is surrounded by lush forests, serene farmlands, and velvety pastures that provided a refreshing break from the city's hustle and bustle. Whether we were exploring the beautiful trails or simply enjoying the views, the stunning landscapes never ceased to impress. One of the highlights of our trip was the city bikes provided at our chalet. They allowed us to explore Putten and its surroundings in a fun and environmentally friendly way. This gave us a new perspective on the town and its scenic surroundings, making our stay even more memorable. In terms of history and culture, Putten didn't disappoint. The Old Church in the center of the town is a must-visit. Its beautiful architecture and serene ambiance made for a worthwhile experience. The town's history, particularly its WWII heritage, added a significant depth to our visit, evoking a sense of reverence and appreciation.

Putten has plenty of necessary shops and supermarkets.

Putten has plenty of necessary shops and supermarkets. Terra Nova do the best burgers ever, Fat Alice's Cajun food is to die for and Benny's place serves cheap and delicious food. If you are travelling with pets, there is a lovely vets who were very accommodating, There is a train station, crazy golf, beautiful woods and swimming pools. Zoo's and parks are moments away and yet you feel like you are in the middle of a nowhere. As always, loads of bicycle lanes, dogs are allowed in the restaurants and people were very friendly. Brush up on your Dutch though as not much English anywhere ( but we like that)

Putten is a nice smaller town but has everything one would need. Many different stores for groceries and plenty of restaurants. It is not really car friendly but that is normal for The Netherlands. Plenty of non paid parking unlike many other towns around. There are new led signs before entering into the town that give different information about fairs or other happenings with dates and times of the events.

The hosts tried their best to make the guests feel as comfortable as at home. Thanks for that. We didn't miss anything in the house, it is well equipped. Recommendation for a long stay. It is very clean. Unfortunately, the weather was not good enough for us to enjoy more in the beautiful yard. The park is quiet and safe. Parking is right in front of the house. In Putten you can find well-equipped food stores as well as the most affordable gas stations in the area.
