I arrived in Siargao by flight from Manila, from the airport to the accommodation I took a van for 40 minutes to the accommodation together with other tourists. We rented a scooter and went all over the island and the landscapes are beautiful. Places we liked: - Island Coconut Trees View Deck, Magpopongko Rock Pools and Flats, Maasin Bridge River Swing and Cloud 9 area - Siargao Island Hopping (Naked Island, Daku Island, and Guyam Island) Restaurants we liked: - Las Barricas Siargao - CEV - Big BellyRoxanaRomania - 10Scored 10

It was Dope!!!!💯❗️❤️❤️❤️. The Ocean view.. the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful view was on point. The open Kitchen excellent. The caretakers were very friendly and polite and very helpful. Stay jumpstarted our month long tour. It set a beautiful precedent that was set and upped our expectations for El Nido. The stay was so good that we are now going to see about purchasing property there. The owner was very gracious about letting us use the Villa which is what I wanted. I have nothing but respect and positive feedback for our Stay. We will be looking forward to going there again.AAnonymous - 4.0Scored 4.0

Crazy crowded unfortunately. I have been knowing General Luna for more than 12 years and this place unfortunately is getting less and less attractive to me. It has become like a party place and probably it is attractive to those party people.

General Luna or Reef Beach Hotel is a Fleabag, literally. We were bitten by fleas in the bed and unfortunately we only realized the source on the 3rd day. This wasn’t even the room they were supposed to reserve for us after we paid half, 6 months in advance, they informed us Sorry, we didn’t keep your room“. They took responsibility for the fleas and moved us to another room. They did NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY TO REFUND US OUR MONEY, not even for the 3 nights, even though we were itching and scratching for another week. They offered to pay our medical expenses. Believe me, I would rather pay full price and no fleas. DON’T GO THERE, ITS NOT WORTH IT. _________ And this is before telling you about 3 parties into the night with music blasting (out of the 6 nights we booked there). The cockroaches in the rooms and reception. The smell of the room, but they did give us air freshener

This is probably what Boracay was 25 years ago. It's got a great laid-back feel to it with hardly any touts and the restaurants are quite rustic but fit in really well and you have a lot to choose from. The main activity here is surfing but there is a diving option, but the sites aren't up to much.MartinHong Kong

If u book, make sure are the ones at the top level there’s no difference money wise and they are so much better. The staff and owner is super friendly and they organize activities during some evenings like family dinner and poker night. There is a communal kitchen you can use, which was fab and the first time I see this in The Philippines! The hostel is located to Cloud 9 and its beach. You need a scooter to get around or get a tricycle from the road. General Luna is small so it only takes 7 min to downtown. Will be back!AnetteSweden

The mattress is on the floor but was very comfortable and I had no problem sleeping. The property is beautiful with a big grass lawn and a kitchen area which is great for cooking your own food. The bathrooms were ok, no hot water in the showers but it’s so hot here you don’t need it! Location is good, right in General Luna but tucked away from the main road so it’s not noisy.

We stayed at the Quicksilver Villa - the bathroom was huge, the living/welcome area was great, and the bedroom itself was perfect. There is a common kitchen which guests can cook & store food which is a plus. The pool was also inviting. I would definitely stay here again!
