A very special place to stay in Lanckorona. The hosts, the paintings, the decoration, the atmosphere. The cat. The building is a construction full of history that provides a nice experience that corresponds to the architecture of this region and village.

The location lends itself to a reflective visit. Quiet with a lot of teens on retreat when we were there. Also a One-Year Anniversary of First Communion celebration/mass - apparently this is a thing in Poland. So, there was a lot of activity during the day, but very quiet at night. The woman at the reception desk was very nice and helpful. There was a good amount of free parking. Comfortable room with private bath but certainly no frills. But it's a monastery complex and reasonably priced, so that makes sense. One photo shows the view from our room, another was taken from the courtyard and the third shows the drinks, snack and breakfast menu. There was a second menu for lunch and dinner.
