We luved Eugenia at Restaurant Convivio, the fresh foods market and incredible range at Lidl supermarket. Small town in an ideal location to explore the beaches and...
Small town in an ideal location to explore the beaches and coastline of western algarve. Not too overrun by tourists like places like Sagres, still feels like a charming Portugese small town. Has large supermarkets too and a market for convenience. Could do with a few more restaurants and cafes though as there isn't much choice for eating out - there are a few good fish restaurants and a nice Pizza place but not much else.

Vila Do Bispo is a nice place to stay for a few days and a great base for touring the local beaches. The only downside to our stay was that it was very quiet during the day and evenings when we went with very few restaurants or bars to grab a quick drink. We ate at Eira Do Mel which was very tasty and if you like vegetarian food, try Pisco.MelowersUnited Kingdom

The room was large and modern with a huge comfy bed with crisp linen. Everything was spotlessly clean. There is a huge balcony with ocean views & a very well equipped kitchen with everything you need. It’s right on the Rota Vincenta except the Fishernans Trail which I was hiking, you need to walk to Vila do Bispo which is a pleasant & flat 3.2 km walk. Great value for money. The hosts are lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

We liked especially the modern architecture of the building and that everything is very new and clean. Our accommodation was great as a couple. If you like to surf in the area this place is also very recommended. You can also find lovely restaurants nearby. Don't forget to have a rental car if you want to go there. You also have a parking spot on the area which is gated.

Also, if you're not sure about the location: Sagres is just a 10-minute-ride away and the vibe of the region between Vila do Bispo and Sagres is unreal (at least I felt so).
