It was an older place, maybe late 1940’s but was well maintained. There were some good ornamentation: colorful plants, sculpture, painting in the room. The couple who owned the place were warm and friendly, eager to please.

Limited commercial food options above a 2.5.
Limited commercial food options above a 2.5. High priced food at best restaurants was no higher than 2.5 for overpriced food. City streets are confusing. Multiple confusing 1-way streets that don't get you where you want to go. About 4 cities with common street boundaries that don't advise the driver that they are changing cities. Pleasant environment.

Aberdeen is so much better to stay in than Ocean Shores!
Aberdeen is so much better to stay in than Ocean Shores! The food is much cheaper and to everyone's liking - the hotels are alot cheaper and its only 20 minutes to Ocean Shores to go play in the ocean! There are also alot more family fun in this sweet town.. All the one way streets are a bit odd to get through but designed for large volumes of traffic so it made sense.

Aberdeen is where you go to die or to find drugs.
Aberdeen is where you go to die or to find drugs. It is a small town with little to no retail options there is a Walmart and a Safeway and some other small places to get things but other than that it's just a stop for gas and snacks I wouldn't move here if you can help it and if you're looking for a place to stay and go the extra few miles and stay in ocean shores or Olympia don't bother with this town, it's really just not worth it,

It's a dying town with little to recommend it.
It's a dying town with little to recommend it. Despite my many trips here I have yet to find a single good place to eat or anything much to do. All you really need to know is that the largest building in town is a burned out hotel no one can afford to tear down.

I expected more, but got way less out of my very first experience of this town, from the locals going above and beyond over selling to get you to purchase more than you need to line their pockets, taking total advantage of the out of towner! I will not go back
Amazing hotel and amazing front desk receptionist. Room was clean and very spacious and you can't beat the price! They allowed us to even stay a little past check out to finish our laundry! Room was perfect with large king bed, sofa, work desk, coffee maker, fridge, and everything we needed! Don't believe the negative reviews, this place is the best buy for your dollar hands down!
Perfect stay. We stopped here in the way from ONP to Portland. The hotel was large and spacious. It was a small gym, pool, laundry facilities (pay in coins), free parking. The room was clean and super comfortable. It had an iron and hair dryer and coffee machine. We really enjoyed our stay.
The staff was friendly, the rooms looked just like the one that is pictured in the advertisement, and the travel lodge is only 5 minutes from the Kurt Cobain Memorial. This hotel was the perfect location for a quick trip to both Ocean Shores and Westport.
It was comfortable, clean, near the centre, Aberdeen is in my heart forever , thank you for your hospitality, the installations were good, nice bed, everything was as I spected, thanks again, hope to visit again soon!
I grew up in Aberdeen not very far from the Olympic Inn. Yes, the neighborhood looks a little shabby, because Aberdeen isn't doing too well, but the Inn was clean and the bed was comfortable. That's all I expected.
The hotel and room was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The to-go breakfast was pre-packaged and ready to grab as we left in the morning. I would stay here again.
I enjoyed the size of the room, the comfort of the bed. And the fact that this is Aberdeen, my room wasn’t broken into. Very pleased with my experience. I plan to stay here again.
it was a good price hotel close the the shopes and restaurant. It is in good loaction if we go to Ocean Shores or if you want to go to Astoria. Good speed wifi.
