Very disappointed. When I checked in I asked about the other room to make sure both reservations were as they should be. Guess what, there was no other room! Even though I had all the paperwork from Booking.com showing my reservations, the hotel said that you had never send the information for the second room. Then they said that the second room showed to have been canceled 4 days after it had been made. So I tried calling Booking .com to help me and had to deal with a ridiculous recording that asked for your booking number over and over and over. It was a nightmare and really made a huge mess of the whole weekend.

I live in Albany, 30 miles NE of Abilene, so I'm in Abilene about weekly. There are several nice restaurants, the zoo, a planetarium, big outdoor convention center. One thing I really like about Abilene is the friendliness of the people, and also the road system is so easy to work with. If you plan a trip to Abilene, come one of the last 2 weekends in June so that you can attend the Fandangle in Albany. For over 75 years more than 250 Albany performers authentically recreate history of Texas from the 1800’s in a beautiful acre size outdoor amphitheater. Watch as covered wagons, Indians, stagecoaches, trains, horses and riders, and a majestic herd of longhorn tell the tales of the area.

DO NOT like your road laws, you get pulled over if NOT following the flow of traffic, speed limit 70, if traffic doing 80 you best be too, your own ramps are not long enough to merge into traffic properly. Many times they just try and push you right off or into other traffic, From TN thru to Abilene was so heavy with construction and rude drivers of get off or go, I came home early.

I liked downtown because there wasnt too much traffic -parking was free and I love old buildings especially vacant ones. Buffalo has some of the best but these were nice. I like when places look like throwbacks to the 1940s- 1950s . I didnt see all of downtown but the parts not far from the courthouse. There is an old rr building for sale but they want way way too much - like 40 times the assessment. I was well over 100 degrees that day so I didnt do too much walking.

This place should not be a consideration for staying because of their business practices and the type of people that hang around there. There was a problem with my booking date and they didn't want to help me. When they did they wanted to change the rate which was ok but when I saw the printout with the new price it was even more than what I was told. After looking at the price on the internet I noticed that the price had doubled and I decided not to stay there and wanted my money back. The reason they didn't give me my money back was that I didn't cancel the reservation 24 hours before the date of arrival. This is a shady place.

The property was HORRIBLE, there was no hot water (receptionist said let it run for 10+ mins to get hot water), which there was no hot water, the bathroom door didn't close, the property was filthy, for what they charge for rooms this was very disappointing. Not up to the standards I would expect from a Wyndham property. This was the first and last time we will ever stay here, and would never recommend this property to ANYONE!

staff was nice. Room just dusty.
staff was nice. Room just dusty. Non smoking room was overwhelmingly smelled cigarette. We all woke up sick. Feeling worse/sick still. Room visually have dirty linens, beds and it just feels dirty, the sense that you cant get comfortable. We were just so tired from long drive, just needed to lay/sleep.
The hotel was clean, our room was spacious, the staff was super helpful and friendly, and the breakfast down stairs was perfect for my little kiddos. The WiFi worked well for downloading video for my kids and the room and common areas were very clean. Breakfast was good with do it yourself waffles, cereal, and other goodies. It was right off the freeway and my family and I arrived after midnight and the front desk attendant was at the desk ready to check us in and very friendly!
The hotel was easily accessible & away from other businesses & traffic, so it was very quiet. Our room was a nice size with all the necessary amenities & probably the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in. Staff was welcoming & the breakfast actually goes until 10:00 am on Sat & Sun mornings, which is nice for those not so morning people.
Clean and modern room. Close to stores and restaurants. Decent sized pool. Impressive gym for a hotel. Good selection for breakfast. Complimentary cucumber water, coffee, tea, and apples in lobby. Helpful and HONEST staff. (I forgot an expensive item in my room and the staff found it and shipped it back to me)
Excellent location. Outstanding staff. Super clean. I would take my family here if in fact they weren't occupied in school etc. I've stayed in much pricier hotels where the accommodations didn't come close. After staying at 11 other hotels in Abilene this one is a definite great value.
This is a beautiful new modern Hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. It has a nice restaurant and separate beautiful bar. Easy walk to the convention center. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again
This was the best and most updated hotel I've stayed in! Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff was kind and friendly. The complementary breakfast was top notch! Thanks for making our last night of vacation so great!
Comfortable beds. Had a good sleep.
Nice Hotel Bar with a good selection on taps.
Check in and out was effortless and quick.
We also stored our luggage for an afternoon without any issues.
The rooms were very clean. The beds were so comfy! The hotel layout was really cool with an indoor courtyard. I will defiantly book here again. It was such a great value.
stayed one night. perfect road-trip hotel. clean, friendly staff and super comfy and spacious rooms! Breakfast was really good. As in all Holiday express hotels. 10/10.
The lady at the front desk (evening) was superb...She had a few mixups with rooms but she handled it great and everyone was happy. She is an asset to this hotel
