We left early as the bathroom was so small we could not use it to shower. We did not see any sign of breakfast

Andrea, the host, is awesome. There's an incredible hot breakfast every morning and it's cozy everywhere you look. The biggest plus for me was how clean our room was. The bathroom you could have eaten off the floor, and the bed linens were all freshly laundered. I was honestly amazed at how clean it all was. Thank you, Andrea! We'll definitely be back.
Many activities on the lake. We enjoyed the scenic boat ride and also took a nice walk along the dike. Several good restaurants in the area. We especially enjoyed the Settlers Inn which featured a very good jazz trio. We had stopped at the visitor center and the staff was very helpful.

What a gem!
What a gem! We booked a night at Silver Birches on Lake Wallenpaupack, in Hawley, PA., while traveling North. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. It is very easy to get to from the Highway. Our room was upgraded and we had a gorgeous view of the Lake. The staff was pleasant and helpful, telling us about other things to explore in the area. After a wonderful dinner at the restaurant next door, we walked back to the hotel and worked on a puzzle in the common sitting area. Had we stayed longer, we would have taken advantage of the kayak’s and swimming pool. A delicious breakfast was included with our stay. I can’t say enough, the whole experience was wonderful!

Have been to this area many times.
Have been to this area many times. Hawley is an older town but during our stay they held Wally Fest which had a band on the lake in the day and a band on land during the evening. Seems like all restaurants servived the pandemic except the Hawley Diner.

The town is nice only you stay in a house or hotel on the lake, or at the Settlers Inn. There are no places to access the lake, or very few. I suggested Silver Birches or a VRBO rental house or cabin but make sure it is on or near the lake. Downtown is dead - except for a fishing store and an Italian restaurant. The buildings are historic but don't have expectations of shopping here. Also - state parks are 20-30 min away despite what they make you think, and the bicycle route is a total joke. If you want to bike, hike or such activities, stay closers to the parks where you plan to do that. The Settlers Inn is the only gem in the town away from the lake.

We came on a Monday through Wednesday.
We came on a Monday through Wednesday. Many restaurants were closed. We ended up dining at the Inn every night, but did travel to Woodloch for lunch on the golf course. Very nice, but I wouldn't exactly call it a resort area.
A lovely, well-maintained historic inn full of Arts & Crafts era character. Friendly and accommodating staff, and tasty fresh prepared breakfast options. The Grant's Woods area offers a great place to sit outside in nice weather with shady trees and a variety of chairs, tables and lounge furniture. In just a short walk you can reach the small town center of Hawley which offers a few shops and restaurants.
The location was fantastic.Lake view from the window, little rocky "beach access" to the lake, beautiful trail along the lake just accross the street. Hawley 5 min drive by car. Very clean place, fully equipped kitchen, huge kitchen counter for those who like to prepare some meals, comfortable beds. Wood furniture that didnt have any sharp corners which worked really well with a toddler.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I needed to check in a little early, and they were very accommodating. The room, linens, towels were all clean and fresh. The location overlooking the waterfalls is really a rare gem. The lobby was a cozy spot to read, with a fireplace, comfortable sofas, and board games. The restaurant in the hotel had absolutely amazing food.
Lukans resort exceeded my expectations. We booked a last minute stay and honestly I was a little nervous. Upon arrival I was so pleased to see how beautiful and welcoming the place is. The resort area is huge and although we could t dine with them, I heard all great things about dining there. I want to go back with my family soon!
Well appointed and smartly laid out. Location couldn't be better for enjoying some of the best views of the lake as well as the center of Hawley. Easy room access and who knew not needing to use a room key would feel so good. Would definitely stay here again!
This was perfect for my family. Plenty of space to sit in the living room and eat in the dining area. The Fireplace was tricky the first time but worth the effort the warmth on this cool rainy weekend was a very nice touch in the evening.
I go to Settlers Inn for the nice Arts and Crafts architecture. Main sitting area, bar and dinning room are beautiful. The Strawberry Crème Waffles and the Roasted Zucchini, Cheddar and Bacon Omelet were excellent.
Fabulous quaint hotel in a beautiful river side setting. Very friendly staff, spacious room and great breakfast. Lots to do in surrounding area. Would have liked to have stayed longer
We liked how spacious the house was. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and newly renovated. The deck and yard area were also enjoyable, as was the game room!
Having the breakfast credit built into the room rate was a bit of a surprise, but I went to the sister restaurant Settlers Inn and had a scrumptious breakfast so I can't complain.
Breakfast was included and we'll worth it. Food was excellent.
Staff was very helpful and nice to know that you could use facilities at the other sister hotels close by.
