Room was clean and was very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful even after multiple guest were extremely rude to them and he handled the situation perfectly. I was more than happy to step up and say something to the rude guest when the man running the front was doing the best he could with people checking in by himself.

The breakfast that Linda served us both days was delicious. Linda is a gracious host. She is willing to go above and beyond to make your visit pleasant and very special. Linda provided some amenities special for us just because it was our anniversary. The private spa adjacent to our room was amazing.

Gorgeous views of lake and mountains. But this town is D*E*A*D. If you want quiet solitude this is the place. I wanted a getaway from Atlanta and hadn’t been to Hiawassee for several years. The drive on Monday was beautiful. But…. I was the only person at the motel. The top 6 restaurants in Hiawassee were closed until Wednesday. I finally found a pretty good BBQ restaurant in Hayesville 15 minutes away. Most of the buildings in the area are closed or abandoned. Really sad!

We have traveled to the Georgia Mountain Fall Festival at the Fairgrounds several times. Huddle House, Sundown Grill, Dillard House among others. It's easy to get around Hiawassee and the surrounding areas. Haven't encountered anything to avoid.AAnonymous - 2.0Scored 2.0

Horrible musty smell, too late to change to a hotel nearby cause I had a wedding to attend. Didn’t sleep well due to smell. Left early in morning. Manager called and gave me a refund of $33 of the $140 I paid. This room shouldn’t have been used until the musty smell was taken care of.

July temperatures were pleasant 62-85. Nice town with great grocery store (Ingles). Best Georgia mountain Pickleball courts! ! Lots of Floridians escaping the heat. Most beautiful lake for boating and fishing.

Someone stole the antenna off my new truck in the parking...
Someone stole the antenna off my new truck in the parking lot of chatuge Lodge, locals were very friendly, but things in stores were very expensive, and the restaurant coffee was un drinkable from any of them!! We reserved a boat rental on line but the guy never contacted us until 4pm and said I can have it in the water in an hour!! WTF who rents a boat at 5:pm We went home early very disappointed

The breakfast was adequate with choices of cereals, bagels, muffins, cakes, fruit, along with tea/coffee available all day and fruit juices for breakfast. The decor was in keeping with the hotel and was kept very clean at all times. Lovely lounge area with roaring fireplace. Staff were always very friendly and on hand if you needed anything. The room is so quaint and comfortable. It really feels like home which is nice if you don't like hotels. Each morning we were served an amazing southern breakfast that is making my mouth water thinking of it now. Not to mention they have a spa room . I recommend staying here.

The soaps and lotion in the bathroom were Dove and are the same products I use at home, which I love. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast had a good variety and there was a nice little fitness room. I travel many times a year and this is the best hotel we have stayed in in a long time.
