Staff was friendly and accommodating at check-in. The Inn is in a great location and has a very nice restaurant next door for dinner. It was a little weird being checked and having parking explained to me like I was a child, but apparently, they thought I was someone else and were afraid I'd tear up their lawn - again???

The hotel was all around very clean. The staff when checking in were super nice. Pool was nice a bit cold but still nice.

Pool wasn’t working - we had booked specifically for the pool . I spoke to the front desk three times . We were told it would be open , but it was not. We were not offered a discount. The property was very run down and not maintained well. There was a bad smell in the hallways , and clearly our room had been used by smokers. I should have requested a new room but suspected they were all similar.

Though the decor maybe could use a refresh the entire place was clean and all ice and vending machines clean and working. The breakfast buffer was delicious and kept freshly stocked with a wide variety of choices. The Staff were all exceptionally warm and pleasant as well as competent. The bed and bathroom linens were fresh and clean. The frige and microwave were great! The available computer and printer in the breakfast room were very handy! The mattress was a bit lumpy but not all that bad and the carpet in the room had more than a few stains but none of it was bothersome. Something that I REALLY appreciate is an available HDMI hookup for my travel ROKU - the in room television choices were limited.

Only thing good about this Hotel from hell, is the room was a good size.
Had to run the water for 15 MINUTES! to get hot water. They told me it was because it had to go to the other side of the hotel an back an are waiting on parts, WTH! Towels are horrible, scratchy, like the toilet paper. Toilet didn't flush properly, had to flush it 3-4x's, kept shutting off the AC ,called them on it, took 3 tries before they answered the phone, had to call about this 3x's, on 3 different days, which my dog was in the room, they knew this as they charged me for it. NO COFFEE IN THE LOBBY, NO ICE IN THE MACHINE OR SNACKS IN THE VENDING MACHINES! DO NOT STAY HERE, HOTEL FROM HELL!!!!!!!!!!
I stayed here for one night due to the hotel being close to the location where I had business that day. It was more or less what the price tag already suggested so it met my expectation. For just a stopover for one night its ok but I would not recommend a longer stay. The staff was friendly and uncomplicated, the room was very clean.
When we travel, comfort as well as value, is very important. Hampton Inn Howell hit both those marks. The beds were soft but firm. The breakfast was delicious with quite a variety to choose from. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We hughly recommend them and would definitely stay there again.
Fairly clean property the breakfast was delicious and honestly I don’t think I’ve ever met a nicer hotel staff. Becca was the greeter when we came in and she was phenomenal and so funny and entertaining. It was a pleasure to meet her and overall we just had a great time.
Staff was really nice and friendly the whole stay. They were helpful with anything I need or with directions in the area. Hotel was quite even with a ton of kids from different sports clubs in the building.
The hotel staff are very pleasant and welcoming. They were able to accommodate my change of reservation without hesitation. The room was comfortable and well appointed.
Breakfast was good and the staff was very nice and helpful. I received a discount and a free upgrade just for asking 😁 Thank you Howell MI Holiday inn.👍
