Lombard is a great central location to stay when visiting the near west suburbs of Chicago. It is less expensive than staying in Oak Brook, which is located next door, but very convenient to the entire area.

It's close to many establishments to fulfill an array of needs and wants. Whether it's shopping for items forgotten to pack or just finding things you like ( malls- grocery stores- Walgreens-Target). Lombard is an affordable location.
Lombard is an affordable location. I did not see any evidence of crime in the 4 days we stayed. Lots of restaurant options. Very convenient to 355. Good location for Muslim travelers because of halal restaurant options and proximity to mosques. Not a super glamorous area North road is more of a budget area that over by the Hyatt. To avoid the toll road going into Chicago, go about 6 miles East to 290. Chicago is maybe a 20 minute drive. Driving was really not bad in terms of congestion. We were there on weekdays. There is a Jewel grocery store, Aldi, and a Target nearby, and some more upscale businesses. Some of the Indian restaurants are closed on Mondays. Most restaurants, Target, and Aldi were closed when we drove in about 10:30 on Sunday night.AnneUnited States - 10Scored 10

Lombard is a very convenient location and is a safe area in which to stay. Lots of shopping and dining nearby and easy access to expressways. Also, a first rate hospital nearby, if medical attention is needed.

Reeked of cigarettes or marijuana. I opened the sleep sofa for my son and garbage was everywhere. The sofa was soiled, The sheets were dingy. There were bugs going through a hole in the bathroom. Utensils were missing from the kitchen. The bathroom shower was hanging off the wall. This hotel has really gone down. To be in such a nice area. I will never stay here again.LaTrenicaUnited States
