This is a old style "Motor Lodge" that I believe is now under new ownership and management. The location is good, the rooms are refreshed and the bed was comfortable. At this time of year it is hard to appreciate the outdoor space and pool , but it is evident the owners have been keeping things neat and tidy. I would absolutely recommend this place as a good value for its price range.

Never been to Ludington before but it’s a really cute town with great shops and restaurants, the beach is pristine, and everything is relatively close to the beach. Just beautiful fall colors! If you have not been to Ludington, it’s a lot less crowded than Saugatuck and less expensive.

Given the date of my excursion, I had notice from S.S.Badger they had suffered damage to their docking facility--thus could not cruise. For THEIR part, the "cruise line" was outstanding in their effort to cancel. Amazingly easy. As I write this, they should be resuming service.
I travelled on the "Hwy. 10" (the car ferry) before, when it was operating in transport of rail cars and our auto. A trip rich in history. And, the people of the city have always been welcoming when we stopped at various establishments there. Being a segment of a U.S. highway, it is quite easy to travel through the city. There ARE a couple of hotels that I would not frequent again there; but only the two.

Love everthing about Ludington.
Love everthing about Ludington. The beach, downtown shops, House of Flavors, restaurtants and watching the Badger come in. It is close to Pentwater which has a go-cart park and not too far from Michigan Adventure too.

Ludington is one of our favorite places to visit.
Ludington is one of our favorite places to visit. The beach is so clean and plenty of things to do around there. We love to hike in the state park, which is very safe and clean. Absolutely love the Jamesport Brewing for lunch and supper. The walk to the lighthouse is beautiful and relaxing. Plenty of shops, sand dunes and fun. We love it!

Love the restaurants especially House of Flavors and Kilwins for ice cream and shops in Ludington! The Museums are informative and fun to explore. The beach is sandy and large. Parking is close to everything. Beautiful park to watch the Badger, safe play grounds for kids to play and amazing scene to watch the sunset.
What a cute motel so close to downtown Ludington. The breakfasts were great. Simple with 2 options. Quiche & fruit or yogurt & fruit. Staff was SO friendly. My friend and I forgot something. We called and they found it! They even looked through the dumpster but, found it under tv in our room! Thank goodness. The Mgr called me right away to say they found it! I will definitely stay there. Ask about their garden suites overlooking the koi pond. It looked very peaceful. It would have been even better had the bathroom been updated.
Beautiful bed & breakfast! I absolutely loved the room decor and atmosphere. It was very inviting and cozy and the perfect end to an amazing day. Also enjoyed the common areas as well as the breakfast the next morning. I had to leave somewhat early to catch the 9am sailing of the Michigan Carferry, however the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and even packed me some food to go!
I’ll definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone finding themselves in need of a bed & breakfast in Ludington!
Pool was chilly and it was like they overloaded it with chemicals. Our eyes burned. However it's a big pool and hot tub. The lighting at night is really cool. Our room was typical 2 bed hotel room but it could have been cleaned a little better. The shower didn't have great water pressure. These are minor issues given the price. Oh the breakfast was great!!! I would stay again for the price. If price goes up then I would pass.
Jenna and Chris made our stay a perfect experience in this wonderful and historic mansion. Their love to make even the tiniest detail to be just right gave us a precious memory for our time in Ludington: We really enjoyed our time with fun facts about the Cartiers and were delightfully pampered with excellent food, snacks and a delicious cake! Thank you - Katrin and Marcus
The room was clean and sparkled very comfortable. Bigger TV lots of channel selections bed was very comfortable. Breakfast selections were better then most I've had in years from waffles to cheesey eggs and sausage paties to 4 juices and cereal, toast and fruit and yogurt! Well done Best Western! Pool and hot tub were open and well maintained.
The staff. So accommodating and so helpful and friendly. Did not make us feel like a bother for our 100 questions.
My sister lost her wallet entering the hotel and someone turned it in. They were so great in getting it returned to us.
The room was well furnished with towels and soap
Very clean
We accidently left an important item at the hotel. We called the place and they quickly found and shipped the item to us. Thank you to housekeeping and staff involved in its return. So, friendliness, honesty and care for the well being of visitors are outstanding and appreciated.
Big hotel with all amenities - clean- free parking at hotel- nice spacious breakfast area-snackstand @ front desk- 15' from Ludington on main drag- nice breakfast with options + excellent follow up by breakfast lady - nice pool area
It was a classy old hotel, over 100 years old. The coffee was very good. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. It was walking distance to everything downtown. The hot tub in the room was very nice. Used it 3 times in 2 days.
The room was very nice and we were just before downtown Ludington. The shops were fun and the eateries we're very good. The Lake is at the end of downtown and the sunsets were beautiful.
The location couldn't have been much better unless you were on the beach. Really nice walk from my room to downtown or to the water. And when I stayed in, A/C worked well.
The location was ok, not very far from Ludington Beach and sufficiently quiet. There is no breakfast, but we got some coffee in the office (Open from 7 am).
Since we needed a pet friendly hotel...Nader's was perfect! The rooms were clean and accommodating! Very nice people that ran the hotel...felt like home!
