We ended up getting to our cabin unexpectedly extremely late. Like after midnight but our cabin was beautifully lit with green lights hanger from the ceiling of our cabin,..... we could see then coming down the drive way because the cabinet pretty much has windows for walls!!! To say it was beautiful would be an understatement! Wow!! Once in side it was so sweet & very warm and welcoming. The cutest little kitchen area. We had an outhouse with an attached shower beside our cabin. The hot tob we didn't even see. But I read it's at the main house just up the driveway.
We were greeted with a sweet note welcoming us and a chocolate bar 💜
No wifi, no internet, no phone service was nice for a couple days. Ok so now the funny part, haha we also had a we will call it a note to us and other folks in the future. It said something like we have X amount of water and if you would like to shower you will have to use the provided pot and boil water on the stove. Haha ok here's me I don't see a stove 🤷🤦 but theres a wood burner burning away. Hahaha 😂 The damn thing was electric! Very funny guys 😁😂😂 once I looked a min I come a crossed the elect burner 😁 👏😂👏😂

Acorn Cottage is amazing! This is my 2nd stay here and it's just an absolutely adorable perfect cottage for 2! We enjoyed the hot tub more than anything, but Liz, she knows how to stock a place to make sure you have everything you could possibly need! down to spices for cooking and all. Very clean, very quiet and peaceful. We had a little orange kitty visitor we assumed was the neighbors next door, very sweet and hungout with us at the fire for several hours before going home. Hocking Hills park is right down the road and very easy to get to. The roads around the area can be very intimidating for someone not used to driving on unpaved roads, but it's to be expected in such a rural area. Overall, great location and an even better time! Do yourself a favor and book this spot while you have an opening!

The hosts are very nice and accommodating. The room was very clean and attractive. It is very close to where we are zip lining today and only ten miles from our day at Hocking Hills hiking yesterday. Very close to food options too.
