I had room 127 which is next to exit and the amount of noise of the door slamming was horrible. The tenants that live there are dirty and loud.

Great staff especially the gentleman that looks like he could be the late Richard Pryor's son. Very welcoming and accommodating. The coffee was good, the breakfast was good, the room was clean and spacious; even the television in the room worked exceptionally well and had great channels to choose from. There was plenty of parking as well. I was surprised at the additional amenities too. Overall, it was truly a wonderful experience and I highly recommend staying there if you are attending a Navy Bootcamp graduation at Great Lakes as it's very close in proximity. Oh, I failed to there are a couple of restaurants and Walgreens and a Boba shop walking distance from the hotel and that too is a plus.

They think they do you a huge favor when they allow you to check-in into their rooms "early" in a day. Those rooms most probably have been unoccupied for several days in a row! If you don't eat their "free breakfast" or checking-out at much earlier hours than you are should according to their own rules, they would not consider it a favor from you!

We were there to renew old memories and to spend a day in Chicago. There is a Six Flags amusement park in the area and a large shopping mall but we didn't have time to more that drive by. The hotel is located in an area that has many fast food markets and a good Asian buffet.

The restaurant and shopping even at night the decor was beautiful. Wish could have stayed longer to wander around. Kuma's Corner American rock burger eatery very good. Whole foods shopping market, and cold stone creamery all great spots.
The hotel is undergoing renovations, and the Cable TV had NO reception. We even asked for a local tv antenna to just watch local news/information, but they did not have one. The pool is SEASONAL, not indoor.
The Suites are Huge; but the elevator only goes up to the second floor, but, the suites are on the 2 1/2 floor, so you have to carry your bags up 1/2 flight of stairs.
We did not stay the night; we asked for a refund; (not as advertised) and received a FULL refund.
I use this hotel when I visit my daughter's family, approximately 2 miles north off of Lake Street, so the location is ideal. It is also close to shopping restaurants, gas stations and can be accessed from two exits (Half Day or Townline) with relative ease. I would also add that the hotel management (Mr and Mrs Patel) have been exceptionally welcoming from the very first time that I stayed at their property 3 years ago.
Not anything super special about it. But the bathroom was impeccably clean and so was the bedroom. Which is what I cared about most. Its not a place to go if you want an extravagant stay. But its a good medium between a crummy hotel and a $500 a night hotel. I also want to double down on how clean the bathroom was. Even the grout looked brand new.
When I had called the hotel before I stayed there I was told there was a full breakfast bacon egg sausage the whole nine yards there was absolutely nothing very disappointing also I called the day before I checked in and the pool was not open and I was told that it was going to be.. very disappointed
Nothing. If there is a rating lower than “Zero”, it’s would be “negative 11”. It was very disappointing arriving there. The information about this hotel online & on the website is very misleading. There is a very distinct foul stench. Even more distinct upon entering the room.
Hotel was clean. Close to stores and restaurants. Pool is big and warm. Kids enjoyed every minute. Gym was good to get workout in.
The chocolate chip walnut cookies were delicious! We will definitely go back!
