Great place to live, go to school, raise kids, not exactly a tourist destination except for sports events. Unexpectedly, great ethnic food offerings and many outdoor, community, festival and musical offerings.

This is a college town, and it's an enjoyable stay when you're visiting your college student. Favorite breakfast place is the Neighborhood Jam on Main Street. Also try the Garage for a great burger.

Nice quiet room!
Nice quiet room! Heard a dog barking from a distance the next morning and when I went out in the hall I realized it was in the room next door, so the walls were well insulated! They vary the items on the hot breakfast from day to day, but there is an IHOP right next door. Towels are very large and were plentiful. Lots of electrical outlets for charging, laptops, etc. Overall a great value for the price!

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful but we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of our room, pandemic or not. The couch was soiled and there were fingernail clippings. The tables were dusty and not wiped. The bathroom vanity was severely scratched. The toilet worked but hard to flush. There were pubic hairs in the bathtub upon arrival.
Fortunately, the beds were comfortable. After viewing the cleanliness of the room we declined the free breakfast buffet.
We've stayed at other Comfort Inns and for the price we paid we were extremely disappointed with the quality we received.

We came to Norman to visit my aunt who was turning 100.
We came to Norman to visit my aunt who was turning 100. The visit was wonderful with her, the hotel was not great, We loved the breakfasts we had at Cracker Barrel which was just across the street from our hotel. The hotel was supposed to have a hot breakfast according to its web site, but it was not available. We were able to get together with family while there.
We stayed at the Embassy when a tornado hit down the road from the hotel. Earlier in the day we got a weather alert I hadn’t seen before, so I reached out to the Embassy by text asking if there was somewhere safe to go at the hotel if we had a tornado warning. It turns out they have a really good shelter if they need to use it. We heard nothing inside it, but my mom stayed in the room with our dogs and said the noise was loud as the tornado went by. Very thankful to have stayed at the Embassy.
The location on the south end of the metro was a plus for us as we were traveling to Texas and wouldn't have to fight rush hour traffic in the morning.
The room was clean and the beds were very comfy. Also a casino was right next door if you like such things.
And it seemed to be in a safe area right off I35.
The breakfast was standard hotel fare like you'd find almost anywhere.
The room rate was a little less than nearby hotels. $118 including taxes etc.
The room was clean and comfortable. There was a coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, iron and hairdryer in the room. The free morning breakfast had scrambled eggs, sausages, biscuits & gravy, waffles and oatmeal. There was a yogurt bar, cereal station, assorted individually wrapped pastries, juice, coffee and some fresh fruit. The hotel staff was very friendly, competent and helpful.
I originally booked at Norman location. Since I was landing in OKC so late in the evening, I tried to change my first night location and rebook with the OKC location because I am not familiar with the roads, am 69 years old, and did not want to chance something happening on the road so close to dark. Booking.com was too difficult to change my reservation to what I needed.
Very clean, affordable, fridge and microwave in room, great for someone with asthma and allergies as is a clean new property, but they do allow pets and people smoke and prop open the side entrance door, they have vending and laundry but had no soap, thoroughly enjoyed my stay but be forewarned if you are a bath person the tub is quite small and ungainly to exit
The room was as described on the website and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was full but I didn’t hear anything in the night that interrupted my sleep. The location was close to my favorite restaurants, even within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be staying there on my next trip to Norman.
exceptional customer service
i have never seen in the USA in any hotel
front desk manager come to the door explained to me what i need also give us tricks where to see what to do in OKC and Norman. besides that clean room, silent environment. nothing was bad.
Super nice for being the cheapest option in town. I mean don’t waste your time with super 8 in Moore or Thunderbird travel lodge in Norman. This is the place. Super clean, staff doesn’t bug you and no deposit to boot.
The breakfast was poor only fruit was a banana. No oatmeal, was never enough food in the server. Waffles was good. The location was not bad the hotel was ver smoky the elevator was was old and dirty. No parking!
My room was dirty and I had to move to another room and the ax didn’t work in that room and they told me there was no other rooms available so it was stay there or go pay for another room
The Norman, OK location has been and is still the most clean and comfortable Motel 6 I've ever encountered. I'm glad it's berm kept clean since it's opening.
