Right next door to Dan & Whit’s, a classic Vermont...
Right next door to Dan & Whit’s, a classic Vermont institution of the old fashion general stores that has EVERYTHING! Norwich is a stunningly beautiful town great for walking. Connecticut River is down the street. Has swimming holes in summer. Norwich is close to really fun spots like White River Junction, VT, Hanover, NH, Montshire Museum, King Arther Flour bakery & museum type set-up, and the Appalachian Trail!

The shared living room spaces in the main Inn were welcoming and very cozy as well. Multiple fireplaces, sofas added to the ambiance. We also ate at the restaurant. Otherwise, we had been assigned to the main building with many stairs. At our advanced age it would not have been possible to climb stairs with our baggage.
