breakfast was great, lots of choices and well stocked. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The coffee was so good, I don't know what kind it was, but it is a keeper !!

The 'office' was unkempt with stuff all over behind the glass and looked like a family place with children around. But again, the girl was very nice and she took car of the booking in. The people we had contact with were very nice. But, the room was a very tired room with a strong smell of cleaners and promoted a slight feeling of nausea through the stay. However, the bed was reasonably comfortable and the linens "appeared" clean although it felt worrisome in that regard. It was a last minute find en route to Bar Harbor with little time to look around and picked for it's location for a one night stay. Sadly, I would not recommend this place.
Boasting an on-site restaurant and lounge, a fitness centre and a heated indoor swimming pool, Salem Waterfront Hotel & Suites is located in Salem, Massachusetts, 6 km from Abbott Park.

This is a great Hotel/B&B. Marblehead is lovely and we were able to visit Boston by commuting in from the park and ride at Wonderland. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered good variety. I would recommend.

Front desk woman was doing laundry. (About 9:30pm).
Front desk woman was doing laundry. (About 9:30pm). I didn't know she was working both jobs at this time. A note at the desk said helping customer, be right back, so I waited. She saw me but continued laundry tasks for many minutes before a customer came by and asked her for change, she left laundry, crossed the hall to the front desk, got him change, I asked if front desk person would be back. I need to check in. She td me it was her, then checked me in. She saw me at least 7 minutes before but never came to check me in!!! This is totally unacceptable!

The bed was comfortable. We did not feel safe there.
The bed was comfortable. We did not feel safe there. People were hanging out in the back parking lot and sitting on the floor in the hallway near the room we stayed in. The outside door did not always shut tight and was unlocked during the day. Kids pulled the fire alarm. We were to stay 3 nites. We left after the first day. It was not what I expected from what Bookings showed. I won’t go through any company again

We planned to explore Salem and visit as many of the museums...
We planned to explore Salem and visit as many of the museums as possible in 4 days. Staying in Peabody allowed us extremely quick access into Salem, the hotel price was much cheaper than any other accommodation in Salem itself. The hotel was in a good location directly off the highway allowing quick access to multiple routes to take. The parking lot was fairly large, it wrapped around the entire hotel allowing at least anywhere between 60-100 parking spots. The pool was in a good location, however it was limited to 10 people and you were limited to 1 hour of swim time. Our room came supplied with enough storage for our clothing and luggage bags. Our shower was handicapped accessible, however we noticed a lot of the water would drain out onto the bathroom floor. The bathroom was ready for use as soon as we got there. Equipped with towels, a hair dryer, travel size lotion, shampoo, & soap. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They answered any questions we had, took care of our room while we were away, and didn’t bother us at all during our stay. Definitely wish we had more time to spend in Massachusetts.

We stayed in Peabody but our main reason for going was Salem...
We stayed in Peabody but our main reason for going was Salem. We did find very good food in Peabody though. Lots and lots of stores, very populated and you can find anything you need close by. Driving here was a nightmare for us; we are not used to there being no lines on the roads in some parts, no signs for merging lanes and every road being as big/fast as a highway. Very scenic roads though so as the passenger, it was nice haha.
We ended up with a handicap room because my husband had hurt his knee prior to our vacation. Sammy who checked us in was very accommodating. The room was close to the entrance and the pool. We were traveling with my sons 17 and 13. We haven’t stayed I a hotel with them in almost 4 years so we needed a roll in bed because the pullout was too small. Sammy was right on it and brought us extra pillows and blankets. He was so helpful!!
The room suites with the bedroom separately from the living space was exceptional! I loved this separation of the two; you can get ready in your room and still have privacy from the living room. Bonus was every room had a full fridge and freezer, hotplate stove, dish washer.. I will ONLY book moving forward with Homewood Suites! The best hotel I've ever stayed in!
I arrived on a Wednesday so I had the delicious meal at dinner time. I would have rated my experience as exceptional but my bedroom had no TV. When I asked front desk she said they were back ordered. My "thing" is to watch TV in bed when I stay at hotels. The front desk was unable to grant me a discount because I booked thru a 3rd party.
Close to Salem and Boston, and just half an hour from the airport! The front desk ladies were the sweetest and so helpful. We had issues with our original hotel and ended up with nowhere to stay Halloween week in Salem, but luckily they had availability and were more than accommodating to us :) Nice large rooms, and for the most part clean.
Liked that I made it to the hotel. We rode our bikes from Salisbury. I didn't realize how hilly Peabody was. The road up to the hotel was not only exhausting, it was scary in that the shoulders were either nonexistent or covered with trash, glass, sand or rocks.
Spotlessly clean, convenient and very friendly. A older staff member went out of his way early on the morning of our departure to help us. Other hotels should follow suit, the
swimming pool was crystal clear, and OPEN FROM
6:00 am to 11:00 pm.
Love the location in respect to the distance from Salem, I think the rooms are a bit outdated and could use some upgrades. But it was very clean and the staff was so so friendly and helpful. The even accommodated our friends multiple times.
The hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly and professional, anything you needed they provided. The included breakfast was just right. I would certainly recommend and consider staying again when I am in the area next.
We had a fantastic stay.are room was clean the hotel its self was clean.the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were close to everything that we wanted to see and do.we would definitely stay again and would recommend.
The staff is very helpful. The property is well maintained and roomy. Very nice, relaxing hotel. The breakfast was great. I was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend it highly
The nearby restaurants and arcade activities / Salem were great and the hotel is close enough to not have to drive long distance. Good to just keep your bags in.
Staff was very accommodating and always had a smile. Our room and the entire hotel were clean and welcoming. Breakfast bar had many options and all were yummy.
