Inn on La Loma Plaza was very authentic. This is a historical building that was a fort, a private home and an inn since the 1990’s. Peggy was very accommodating and made our stay delightful. She is an excellent cook and breakfast was outstanding!

The staff is excellent. Room was charming and comfortable. Well, maintained. The breakfast is one of the best we've ever had. They had tamales! The salsa was fresh and tasty. Cookies chips and salsa in the afternoon in the lobby. On site laundry. Taos is easy to get around and they have an excellent public library.

Taos is currently working on their Plaza.
Taos is currently working on their Plaza. I’m looking forward to that project being completed. Around the Plaza the Gorge and the Alley Cantina are both great places to eat and drink. The trip to Rancho de Taos is mandatory. Not only for the beautiful church but for the restaurant in the plaza behind the church. The Ranchos Plaza Grill is fantastic!! Their hours are kinda weird so check before going.

Slightly too touristy for my liking, but with some lovely walks when you drive to them; well worth to go to the Rio GRande gorge walks and also see the bridge and walk across it; Taos pueblo is always worth a visit and to do a tour there; this time we did the enchanted circle drive, very stunnng scenery.
Taos centre is ok for a coffee, but I would avoid it mainly

This was my second visit to this wonderful city, my first was 27 years ago! Last time we went rafting and horseback riding up on the ski slopes, breathtaking. This time we went Hot Air ballooning and it was spectacular and magical. I am a shopper so if you like to shop you've come to the right place. Tons of wonderful shops and galleries. Restaurants were excellent. I had done my research and booked everything in advance. Tons of great places for coffee and a lovely ice cream shop. Several things that were different from last time, Taos now has warmer nights in the summer, no need for fleece at night. Hiking boots really aren't necessary to walk around Taos Plaza. We dined outside once or twice and we were in sleeveless tops with sandals, would have been too cold to do this years ago. This is a lovely town and perfect for a weekend getaway. Oh the drive between Taos and Santa Fe is worth it, just for the breathtaking views.
we absolutely loved our stay!! the property was steeped in history which made the stay extra special - but our hosts were amazing also. Always had great recommendations of activities for the family abs the breakfasts were home made and delicious Such a treat after our basic hotel breakfasts of we’d had before arriving.
also the location is perfect, it is only a five minute walk in to the plaza for shopping, visiting museums and dining.
Taos is a beautiful town with so much to see and do and amazing restaurants.
This boutique hotel is absolutely magical. It is nestled in a beautiful and peaceful part of Taos, only 10 minutes walk from the center of town. The architecture is absolutely wonderful. When we arrived the cotton falling from the cotton wood trees were falling, creating such a beautiful scene: we felt we were in a snow globe. The tranquility of the ground and beautify of the surroundings, the thoughtfully appointed rooms will not disappoint.
I think that the Taos Inn is a place that gets under a visitor's skin. I am a repeat customer that expects certain things that make a stay here more like being at a private club. It's not the greatest hotel you will stay in, but it is, quintessentially Taos. You have to stay there and appreciate how easy and comfortable it is to be there. Evan though the kitchen and the bar are temporarily under renovation. I love being there.
What was not to live? Although the outside looked as though it needed updating, our room was absolutely adorable ! We loved every unique detail and from what I understand, there aren’t any two rooms alike! The staff at breakfast were so amazing and made us feel like family! The location was perfect within walking distance of everything! This will be our hotel if choice if we visit Taos again.!
The outdoor property was lovely and well maintained. Plenty of outdoor seating is provided for gathering or relaxing. Parking was managed well for all those who were staying at the B&B. We brought two small dogs and there was yard space for them to do their duties. Overall, it is a pretty little outpost within walking distance to downtown Taos.
Just the perfect lodge/motel. The grounds were park like...cornhole, a few disc golf cages, lots of Adirondack chairs and picnic tables to sit at. Staff was amazingly nice..cookies when you check in, soup in the evening and nice breakfast in the morning. Easy walk to town. Will definitely be our go to place in Taos....and dog friendly too.
Very traditional, Adobe hotel decorated in New Mexico style. Our King room was spacious, clean, and recently renovated. Owner very friendly with recommendations of where to eat, and the heart of Taos (Plaza) is only 4 blocks away. A great and inexpensive place to stay when visiting this charming town!
Taos is a small town and this hotel is on the Main Street near everything. Easy access, ample parking, big rooms. We were in a studio with a king, a queen and a sofa bed. Great for a family of four.
Room had a small refrigerator, microwave and a coffee maker.
Although Taos lost power, the owner kept us informed on when it might return. Snacks were put out during the time. The lodge is an eclectic sort of place that allows a really personal experience, not like a sterile hotel. The breakfast was excellent each day.
The hot cooked breakfast was delicious and fresh.
The Taos Suite provided the two of us privacy--with one of us sleeping in the living area and the other in the bedroom.
The location adjacent to the Love Apple restaurant was perfect!
Everything was good here. Spacious and comfortable room, attractive decor with many murals across the property. Plenty of places to sit outdoors, including a large garden. If we ever visit Taos again we ill stay here.
Downstairs King room unavailable when I checked in so they upgraded me to
Downstairs King suite. Really nice. This property is special and is located with easy access to all the restaurants in Taos.
Beautiful traditional Taos house, in idyllic setting. Lovely host who went of of her way to make our stay as good as possible. Great breakfast too. Highly recommended.
