Not many complaints except there was no soap in the container by the sink, so I had to take it from the shower, which was pretty empty itself.
Came in and had to stand there for about 5 minutes before anyone came to the check in counter. I was alone completely, kinda spooky

Excellent staff! Very clean rooms and facility overall.
The facilities were clean and inviting. The room, for the most part, was clean as well (there was a pair of gloves and two shot sized liquor bottles left in my room from the previous person’s stay, though). I did find it odd that I couldn’t turn on the bathroom light without turning on the light in the kitchen area. This made it difficult to shower in the morning and allow my spouse to sleep and NOT be disturbed. I was frustrated that breakfast was supposed to be served at 7:00am and wasn’t ready (or the area even opened) until several minutes past that. The staff were NOT necessarily rude, but would literally walk right by you without making eye contact or saying anything (one cleaning lady actually did look up from her phone and say Good Morning). The front desk employees never smiled and were on their phones. Again, NOT rude per se, but just gave off a weird vibe. I would actually stay there again, but would be hopeful to encounter a little more energy form the staff.

Nice to be away just far enough from the city of Detroit.
Nice to be away just far enough from the city of Detroit. Safe city ,had a lot issues with fast food places in area but that’s the only complaint I would have to have about the city of Troy. Also freeway noise didn’t bother me , but there is a some noise from the freeway.

It was ok to stay in my room it was pretty clean. But, its a pet friendly place and dog poo was all outside when entering, carpet was nasty throughout the hotel. The pool area floor was nasty and that was one of my main reasons for wanting to stay was for the pool I wouldn't use it didn't want to take the chance of catching anything.

It is a city that is easy to get around, especially in the mornings. Just make sure that you have google maps on your phone so in case traffic gets busy, that you can orientate yourself in the correct lanes. There is lots to
do in Troy. A nice place to go and eat is Red Robin in Troy. It is a very nice, very clean restaurant with excellent service and a delicious menu!! It is also in a very nice location!

Very nice area. Our relatives live in Berkley.
Very nice area. Our relatives live in Berkley. Adorable little town. To tell you the truth I don't know if we were in Troy or not. Wasn't real sure exactly where all we went. Thank goodness the family that lived there did the driving. lol We ent to Greek Town casino. Very nice. Ate one night at 24 Sec. That was fun. Ate at Charleys, Green (?) Pizza.
I tried to stay off the Interstates. Kind of confusing to me. We also went to the zoo. Smaller than what I am used to but still very nice and clean. We didn't just stay in Troy. We were all over the place. lol

I was told on booking.com that I didn’t have to prepay but when I got there I had to pay 300$ plus the total which was 212 and then my guest had to pay 25$ for parking tickets which booking.com didn’t tell me or I would of stayed somewhere else
This hotel is the worst place I have ever stayed at, the room smell of kerosene and the hallway smelled like dirty diapers. I asked the front desk if they can change my room, but she said there was no other available rooms. I could never t stay because the smell was giving me a headache and being Asthmatic this is not healthy for me. So I checked out and I was only in the room for 2hours and the still charged my credit card for a 1 night stay.
Thank you to the entire staff for making a great 1st time staying in a hotel for my granddaughters. We planned a great bonding overnight, of facials, movies and fun. The staff was awesome, and really made the girls first experience wonderful. The girls continue to ask when we can do it again. My husband and I are traveling in December for the Christmas holiday and we will definitely book again.
Me and my wife like the spaciousness and cleanliness of the room, love the idea of the living room and bedroom separated with 2 sets of TVs. The welcome cocktails upon our check-in, also basic American breakfast buffet included in the price. There is an indoor pool and free gym in the hotel but never got the chance to get into it.
I love the building. I love the staff especially the lady who checked us in the night we came, very professional and friendly, another aspect I love about the hotel is the breakfast area and the chef that was on shift on Tuesday morning , very professional and he knows his job.
The location was good - we were not far from our daughter's apartment in Ferndale. It was a straight shot pretty much to her place. We liked the closenest of a McDonald's to the hotel for snacks. The hotel had snacks available which was also nice.
The best feature and sole reason I chose the hotel was the excellent electric vehicle EV charger stations. And the rest of the hotel was fine too. I will definitely stay there again because of the EV chargers.
Asked for room away from elevators and ice. Got room at elevators and ice. Room door was open on arrival. Room was tired and smelled a bit. No shower curtain. Noise from highway outside. Tired hotel.
Everything was delightful. Room was perfect and quiet. I always stay at this hotel when I come into town. The staff is always very helpful and very friendly! Breakfast is always delicious!
The food and service at the restaurant is excellent. The food quality and the service is as good as you will find anywhere. A pleasant surprise for a hotel restaurant.
The front desk staff while I was there, Sherita and Christian, were friendly and professional. The rest of the hotel seemed nice enough including the pool room.
We travel often to five star hotels, suites and resorts. I must say Home2 suites was our first experience with a very clean and above and beyond service.
