The windows cannot be opened but air con was perfect.

Conveniently located in the Sabayil district of Baku, Hillside City Center Hotel is set 1 km from Maiden Tower, less than 1 km from Flame Towers and a 13-minute walk from Upland Park. I like the genuine helpfulness of the staff - very hospitable employees demonstrating the local culture. My room was clean and warm. I felt safe in general, as a solo female traveller. Special thanks to Mr. Edvin who went beyond his duties to make my stay easy in Baku.

Set 300 metres from Palace of The Shirvanshahs, Pera Hotel Baku offers 4-star accommodation in Baku and has a garden, a restaurant and a bar. The location was superb, right in the old town area. Very close to cute souviner stores, resturants, historic sites. The service was also impeccable. The guys on reception/administration were extremely helpful, polite, kind - particularly Eldar who helped us with suitcases and all requests/questions. The buffet breakfast was nice and the chef brought over to us a lovely traditional dish which was a very nice surprise.

Staffs are tremendously nice and helpful. Location in the old city is great and we can easily access seashore and major sights in old city. Btw the room decoration is really good and vintage. The furniture and electronic appliances are carefully selected in the room and brought you back to old time. I never used a flush toilet in gold color before :p
