Localizado em uma rua tranquila no centro de Ghent, o Ganda Rooms & Suites ocupa uma villa tradicional do século XVIII com varanda térrea e terraço. The building was renovated recently and was well-appointed but also kept a lot of old-world charm. The location was ideal for exploring the old town of Ghent. The room was large and the artwork throughout the hotel was unique and interesting. A salon with comfortable furnishings and an outdoor terrace provided nice communal spaces to relax. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and featured tasty homemade cakes and jams.

I was upgraded for free to upper level into suit, had a balcony with very gorgeous view and wish I could’ve staid longer just for this view. Lounge place was great, beer choices were pretty good too my favourite one was Fourchette. Went there on by walk from a train station and was pretty quick, good site seeing on the way anyways and enjoyed walking there, took a taxi after back to the train. Restaurant upstairs was under renovation and it should be open soon, but once open it would be great to enjoy your mean, beer or wine with great site viewing from the 6th floor, I had about 1/3 of that view from my balcony anyways and it’s not a down side that this restaurant wasn’t open yet, but next time I’ll come for a visit I’m sure it will be open.

The lady at the reception was very kind and gave us a map and a very useful brochure about the city as well as some indications on how to reach some parts of the city. I would totally recommend this hotel.
