The Orchids ligt in La Candelaria, de historische wijk van Bogotá, en biedt kamers met een iPod-dock en een luxe inrichting. Excellent accommodation. The staff was very,very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful and was selected from a menu - i.e. not from a buffet but made to order - and the location is excellent, just round the corner from Plaza Bolívar, the Gold Museum, the Botero Museum and other important sights. The room was very large and quiet. Highly recommended

Hotel Quinta Bolivar is goed gelegen in de wijk Candelaria - Centro Historico in Bogota, en bevindt zich op 12 minuten lopen van Chorro de Quevedo, 1,7 km van Plaza Bolívar en 5,3 km van... Quinta Bolívar was instantly inviting with its warm decor and the kindest of people. Philipe went out of his way to make sure I felt at ease and greatly supported with getting around the city. The room was comfortable too. I would definitely stay again.

The location of the hotel is just perfect! you can walk few minutes to main landmarks (Museo de Botero, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Museo del Oro, Chorro de Quevedo, etc.) There is a good variety of breakfast options. What makes the hotel so special is the building and decoration itself, is kind of time travel. Super recommended, great value for money.

The staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful. The twin room was a great size with comfortable beds. Shower was quite decent. location of hotel is a short walk from museums and central plazas. I would like to emphasize how friendly the three staff members we interacted with were (Especially William)! They helped us out with ordering transport (and pricing), recommended restaurants in the area.

Our 1 and 3 year old appreciated that the room was spacious, as it is an older hotel. The place has a lot of charm and is in a great location. The showers have warm water and there was a fridge in the room. Overall, it was probably the best value for money place that we've stayed in Colombia so far!
