You can stay at different kinds of accommodation while travelling - all from hostels to luxurious hotels. And then there is Djorff which will excel most of them, no matter what they offer! The design makes you think of Tales from the Arabian Nights - especially if you will be lucky enough to stay there during full moon. The decor is unique for each room which makes the experience one of a kind. What is important is that the way it is built does not allow the rooms to warm up. They are naturally cool which is a blessing in the scorching heat. Get a refreshing dip in the pool and don't forget to dine at the adjacent restaurant. The food is exquisite and based on really good recipes, mostly from the Middle East. As Djorff is set on the west bank, you are not far from Luxor (thanks to the boat which will carry you over the Nile) but far enough to let you escape the city noise. Staff are lovely na do their best to make you feel as comfortable as possible. And then there is Marina - the charismatic owner who has all the answers about your stay in Luxor. Marina will help you organise your day, get you a driver and - if she has some time and you're willing to listen - she will share one or two remarkable stories from her life. Staying there made me feel somehwat as if I was part of a 1940s-1950s novel or movie. I extended my stay and I am very happy I did so. People sometimes say they are coming back out of politeness but I AM definitely coming back!

Nile Roof Hotel& Restaurant, que cuenta con jardín, terraza, restaurante y wifi gratis, se encuentra en Luxor, a 3,1 km de Colossi of Memnon y a 4,1 km de Medinet Habu Temple. It was great. The staff are very attentive and always there for you. They organize good excursions for little money. Special mention should be made of the fact that every extra request is catered for. I can really recommend this hotel

Rose Guest House se encuentra en Luxor, a menos de 1 km de Medinet Habu Temple, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. Everything about the Pharaonic Rose was perfect. I spent some of the happiest days of my life in Luxor thanks in no small part to the Pharaonic Rose. They have a rooftop with a view of the cliffs and Medinet Habu. The seating area downstairs is shady and in an oasis of a garden. It's very close to Medinet Habu, but far enough away that it is very quiet. It was so nice to have a quiet and peaceful place to return to after the bustle of the tourist areas. The food was amazing. They would just pile heaps of delicious food in front of you. The breakfast was the best I had in Egypt and they can prepare lunch and dinner for you as well. They also organized very affordable transportation for reaching different sites in the area. The family that runs the Pharaonic Rose is extremely kind and welcoming. By the end of the stay I felt like part of the family and the Pharaonic Rose felt like home. To get all that for such a reasonable price is unbelievable! It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. If you are going to Luxor, stay here.

El Luxor Old Nile Hotel se encuentra en Luxor y ofrece restaurante, bar, jardín y zona de playa privada. Very relaxing place to stay. Quiet but not far from everything. Staff were very helpful and went out of way to make very comfortable . Would definitely stay here if in Luxor again. Meals were delicious and very filling.

El Nour El Balad se ubica junto al templo de Medinet Habou, en Luxor. Ofrece conexión WiFi. It’s like visiting a family, warm welcome, relaxed vibe and extremely helpful owners. We received all the possible help and felt cared about. It also felt like being an explorer staying in a very authentic Egyptian house. The room was very specious and the home made breakfast was lovely. The owner is a heartwarming person who has a wide network and is able to organize everything in Luxor (taxi, hot air ballon, and I’m sure the list doesn’t end here). It’s also very important to highlight that the location is very quiet, we managed to get a rest from noisy Egyptian streets and slept like newborns. Strongly recommend!

At Luxor's West Bank, directly on the shores of river Nile, a small number of Nubian style huts with a private little garden attached offer privacy and a sense of ownership. Staff are very helpful and friendly and even though committed 24/7, they all provide a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Free transfer by boat between the hotel and downtown Luxor is available around the clock upon call. The little restaurant offers a variety of tasty homemade food — a great breakfast, snacks for lunch and a diverse selection of dishes for dinner. All meals combine elements of the Egyptian and Western cuisine. Drinks (water, soft drinks, beer and a small selection of Egyptian wines) are also available, a specialty is the Turkish style coffee. The hotel offers a small pool perfectly suitable for a quick refreshment. Upon request, bicycles are available for rent, and the famous sights of the area (valley of the kings, valley of the queens, Hatshepsut temple - each approximately 8 km away one way) can be explored easily by bicycle! I lived for four years in Egypt, but this hotel was by far the nicest I ever had!

Nice and clean Hotel surround by gardens and green spaces .. also we could see The Nile and the Mountains in amazing view .. The restaurant served for us very fresh and delicious food.. we also enjoy our time in the nice and clean swimming pool.. the Hotel arranged our tour to Dandara temple and Abydos Temple. Also the Sailing boat to see the sunset and the magical trip of the hot-air balloon.. The management and the team work was so kind and helpful .. Ayman &Mohammed were amazing in everything I recommend this nice Hotel..
