I was able to check in early. The room was large, airy and light. It was spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location just outside the city centre was perfect. There were no external noises in this modern non-residential area. Yet only ten minutes brisk walk through a park to Arc de Triomf. Perfect! The Glories metro station is just five minutes from the hotel. The price was very fair for a hotel of this standard.

Poblenou is a great area as well, with a lot of things to do and see. Just near the Gloria tower.
