This hotel is set right next to IFEMA, the Parque Juan Carlos I and the Palacio de Congresos. It offers free Wi-Fi. The Novotel Campo de Naciones has an outdoor swimming pool, terrace and gym. Very friendly and attentive staff at the reception. Clean rooms. Pretty fast WiFi. The Metro station, on the line leading to the Airport, is very close.

Hotel Villa de Barajas is set near Madrid Barajas Airport and the IFEMA Congress Centre. The rooms have free WiFi. Rooms in the hotel are non-smoking, decorated in warm colours and have parquet... Very clean and very friendly and helpful receptionist.

This hotel is linked to the nearby Madrid Barajas Airport by a free shuttle service upon request. It is also convenient for the Juan Carlos I exhibition centre. Friendly staff, good restaurant meal. We had an early flight, so we haven’t tried breakfast. But we could have a cup of coffee/tea in the morning. Shuttle bus came on time, trip took 15 min to terminal 1.

Well, I may have finally found the hotel that ticks all the boxes: - Fair price - Free shuttle with clear schedule (no need to start calling the hotel, unless you arrive before 13:30) - Quiet (no airplanes noise) - Free toothbrush and toothpaste! (not needed, but the few times I needed it in the past, it wasn't there, or was expensive) - Free water bottle, tea and coffee in room (always appreciated) - Intuitive and easy to use A/C system (touch screen), not directly toward bed - Delicious breakfast - Friendly staff (also always appreciated)
