Hotel Punta Monpas is set by the beautiful Zurriola Beach, near the historic centre of San Sebastián. Aitor secured reservations for us at Basoa, a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and we had an exceptional dinner. We also dined in one evening at Media Argia and throughly enjoyed the meal.

Easy to get to considering all of the one-way streets but good location a short walk across the river to the old town and most of the main attractions, pintxo bars, restaurants, shops, and the Basque museum. Convenient market across the street and a lot of cafes in the surrounding neighborhood of Gros. Free coffee and sodas in the lounge all afternoon. We went out for breakfast because we wanted to go to the highly-recommended-and-well-worth-it chocolate and churros place in the old town--Churreria Sant Lucia.
