Le Funi Hotel is a charming hotel, set in a quiet area of Bergamo Alta. It is close to the historic centre of the medieval town. the staff is outstanding...helpful, knowledgeable, courteous. the room was lovely with great AC,. Location near old town Cita ALta) could not have been better. ample parking

Situated in Bergamo, 1.5 km from Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, Relais San Vigilio al Castello features accommodation with a garden, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. We had an extraordinary pleasant stay for a weekend. The staff was very nice and the view from the breakfast area was incredible! (breakfast was perfect too). The room was big, clean and comfortable. The hotel has its own very fine restaurant and there are another restaurant and a pizzeria 2 minutes away. The Funicolare is just around the corner and is easy access to Citta Alta (cute old town of Bergamo). Hope to return one day.

Incredible hospitality. The rooms were well appointed. The garden was beautiful. We got a tour of the downstairs area and it was incredibly historic. I absolutely adored this property and the sweet ladies who ran it. From check in, to check out, we were well taken care of. Breakfast was provided which we appreciated. From the train station if you take the number 1 bus to the funicular, head up, the hotel is a short walk from there. Oh and the bathroom in our room (number 4) was AMAZING. The views were viewing.

You can get anywhere in Citta Alta within minutes and the flat is only minutes away from the bus stops to Citta Bassa. Excellent place,clean,spacious,perfectly located.
