I liked that it was in the center of Bologna, a bus station right near by. It was quaint - definitely not a modern cookie cutter hotel! The room was spacious for 4 of us - There was a queen sized bed and two singles that worked out great for us. While i was a little apprehensive booking a room with shared bathrooms, it worked out just fine. There were 3 very clean bathrooms and I was always able to use one at any given time. The showers were great. I liked the price as well. The staff was great. I also liked that there was an elevator/lift.

Dating back to 1375, Phi Hotel Bologna is one of Bologna’s oldest boutique hotels, in the historic city centre. It was located next to the Piazza Maggiore and the salumeria alley(?) Room was bigger, better and cleaner. Staffs were very helpful and guided me to avoid ZTL vioation while come to hotel for baggage drop and phelp me to find a public parking space for over night.
