My first journey to Florence started with her warmest greetings; her unostentatious recommendations about exploring the region, and her diligent attitude toward her work which kept fascinating me throughout my stay, - up to the very last moment of departure, when my taxi to the station that I asked for in advance arrived precisely to a second (such level of orchestrating everything is very impressive for not a 5-star hotel). No words to find to describe the team's professionalism and kindness! - The hotel location is simply great. 2 minutes of walk from Duomo. The location is very central and comfortable. You can even hear the sound of its magic bell ringing out of the hotel's window. - It also feels safe there which is important. Shopping streets, good restaurants, and museums are close by. - The breakfast at the hotel is very pleasant. Quite simple and basic, but has all the range of healthy choices (fresh fruit, eggs, fresh orange juice, artisanal cheese, etc.), and, again, the energy of the place is great, so you have all the chances to receive a charge of positive energy in the morning when starting your day. - They also offered me a welcome drink which was a nice gesture from their side, and a pleasant moment for me in the evening after a long walk through the charming streets of Firenze.

My luggage was lost and the hotel worked hard to find it for me! The service quality is the best in my travels in the world! If you want to request any supplies for the room, the response is very fast, unlike the five-star hotels I have stayed in, which are very slow, like on vacation! This hotel is the best in the world that I have ever encountered in terms of catering, ability to solve difficult problems, service standards, and staff quality! Including its Renaissance design, it is a rare museum!

Set in a former convent next to Florence's Archaeological Museum, Guest House Morandi combines modern comforts and a period feeling. The Cathedral is a 5-minute walk away. The trip was beyond my imagination. The decoration of the hotel was homelike, warm and retro, and the hotel staff was very friendly. It's quiet, the location is great and the breakfast is affordable and great!

A 5-minute walk from Florence Cathedral, this family-run hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. Santa Maria Novella Train Station is a 10-minute walk away. I booked this place without really knowing that a few of Florence's attractions were nearby. As it turned out, the location was very prime and close to the Accademia Gallery. We really enjoyed that there were few pastry and food shops in front of the building which was convenient for quickly grabbing food before heading to the train station. Speaking of the train station, it was a 15 minute walk. 10ish minutes to the Piazza del Duomo. The room was fantastic and always so clean, water pressure and temperature were perfect. Very comfortable bed, was able to sleep without any problems. Check in process was great and effortless. I honestly enjoyed not seeing staff yet finding our room neatly cleaned after coming back from a long day of exploring. I would recommend staying here and would stay again.
