As part of the Vila Porto Mare resort, this hotel offers 4 restaurants, 6 bars and 5 swimming pools. Porto Mare features an extensive tropical garden on the Atlantic oceanfront. Hotel was really nice, staff very accommodating, beds super comfy. We wish we stayed longer.

Located in Funchal, within 600 metres of Gorgulho - Gavinas Beach and 2.9 km of Formosa Beach, Vila Vicência provides accommodation with a bar and free WiFi. Beautiful location and facilities, the indoor pool and jacuzzi were great for a rainy day. Staff is very friendly and accommodating and the room itself was huge with a private balcony. I would absolutely stay here again!

Yemyeşil bir bahçe içinde yer alan bu otel, Funchal sahil kayalıklarına bakan bir açık yüzme havuzuna sahiptir. Everything, I would have to say out of all the hotels I've ever stayed at, this is my favourite. The views from the rooms are spectacular and the breakfasts were delicious. You can tell that all the staff are proud to work there. Just superb!!

Located in the heart of Funchal’s Lido area, this 4-star hotel is a short walk from the city centre and boasts contemporary interiors and an outdoor pool with a terrace. Really large clean room with a comfy bed and usb charging points next to the bed Staff were friendly and check in was very fast Breakfast was not extensive but had everything you need Excellent location next to lots of lovely restaurants and bars, we found we didn’t need to walk into Funchal to find something to eat Excellent value for money

Located close to Funchal’s city centre, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Meliã Madeira Mare offers free WiFi, an indoor and outdoor pool and a spa. Considering it is a 5 star hotel, it is great value for money and the stay and room was five stars all the way. The service and staff are beyond my expectations. I had just completed my 8 day solo walk around the island and asked if it was possible to have a quieter room away from the road (I booked a lateral sea view room with a balcony, which is also excellent itself). Carla at reception was very helpful and found me another room, an unexpected upgrade, with a larger balcony and direct sea view. I also appreciated her sincere recommendation for dinner, specifically "no touristy restaurants please". I listened and had a seafood platter at PVP - Pão, Vinho e Petiscos, opposite the hotel, and it was the best I have had in a long time! My picnic (on the day I couldn't have breakfast), taxis and room changes were all efficiently organised and carried out. Unfortunately, while I was there, the hotel was undergoing some refurbishment due to damage caused by the bad weather, and I think part of the restaurant overlooking the pool was closed, as was the indoor pool. I imagine it would be an even better experience if these areas were not closed. However, we were given plenty of notice of the refurbishment before we checked in. As a substitute, the hotel did well to liaise with the neighbouring hotel to allow us to use their indoor pool. Overall a great stay and only regret is, I could not extend my stay as the hotel was fully booked on my last night in Funchal.

Atlantik Okyanusu'nun panoramik manzarasına sahip Funchal'daki bu lüks otel, kapalı ve açık havuz ile spa sunmaktadır. Odalarda balkon ve kablo TV mevcuttur. Breakfast very good (lots of choice). Fantastic rooms with air conditioning. Great pools and ocean views. The hotel is situated in an ideal location (close to the center). Reception staff very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Lido'da yer alan bu tesis, Funchal'da okyanus kıyısındaki gezinti yoluna sadece 5 dakikalık yürüme mesafesindedir. We booked two rooms for a week. We were happy with everything! The staff is exceptional. Working hard to make the hotel great. It is a clean, very practical place. No steps, no cliffs, easy to get around, elevator to rooms, wonderful for my 80 years old mom who traveled with us. We had rooms with double balcony, ocean view. It couldn't be any better! Location is priceless, walking distance to grocery store, many restaurants, bus station and more.
