Situated in Porto’s Ribeira district, this 4-star hotel is situated in a refurbished, historic building overlooking the Douro River. It offers air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi. The hotel was in a perfect location, the staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The 5-star Pestana Vintage Porto Hotel & World Heritage Site is romantically situated along the Douro River, right on the historic Ribeira Square. I travel a lot, but it is one of the best hotel that I ever stayed. I liked the incredible care without feeling intrusive. excellent location, excellent breakfasts, excellent interior of the rooms and hospitality of all staff.

They booked us a taxi for an early morning train and had a breakfast ready for us to take along. Shower was wonderful and the bed comfortable.

The location was facing the river with amazing views day and night. It is lively down by the river with musicians and all the restaurants, but it quiets down around 10 or 11pm. The apartment was very cute and had everything we needed. The breakfast was very good with lots of variety. We would definitely go back. We dropped our car off at the airport and took a taxi to the apartment as a car is not helpful in Porto.

The place was charming and literally footsteps away from one of the most beautiful and interesting sections of town. Big comfortable bed. Spacious and modern bathroom. It was a very good choice, which I made quite randomly. The hotel has a virtual reception, which is probably a sign of things to come. I am pretty "old school" with hotels, so this worried me when I first confronted a dial-up connection and a person on a flat screen, but it all worked.

Guest House Douro er gistirými í Porto, 200 metra frá Ferreira Borges-markaðnum og 800 metra frá Sao Bento-neðanjarðarlestarstöðinni. Boðið er upp á borgarútsýni. The best was Luis Angel, great service. Our trip hadn’t been as great as it was if Luis hadn’t been there! Thanks Luis!!
