Offering free a round-trip transfer from Mae Haad Pier (2.2 km), Villas Del Sol Koh Tao provides cosy accommodation with a private outdoor pool. Location was amazing with beautiful view. Gorgeous beach was just a few minutes walking. Tom, the host was super welcoming and helpful and was full of good tips. He helped us finding good places to eat and good things to do. I totally recommend! Also, they have a restaurant called Cafe del Sol and the food there is second to None!

Oh my goodness! There is no better place in Kho Tao! I had such a great time in the Cape Shark! We loved the facility and it was perfect for our stay! The kitchen allows us to have a romantic dinner, and the snorkels allow us to explore Shark Bay. We were made to feel comfortable and at ease by the receptionists. It was the nicest place we have ever stayed in. This place is becoming our number one favorite! Cape Shark will certainly be on our list of places to visit again

Surrounded by peace and nature in Koh Tao, The Fisherman's Villas offers cozy self-catering villas with stunning ocean views. Free transfers upon arrival and departure from/to Mae Haad . We had a great stay in the Fishermans House. The location is about a 15 minute ride from the main part of the Island (Sairee) so perfect for couples/families looking to relax with the option to travel to Sairee if needed. The view from The Fishermans Villa was unreal, and from the looks of the locations of the other villas, all views available are equally as amazing. The kitchen is fully equipped including a blender & espresso machine, a very swanky fridge/freezer, oils, tea, coffees, snacks etc... the mini bar is the best we've seen in a long while and fairly priced. The lady checking us in was absolutely lovely and spoke very good English. She was always smiling and nothing seemed too much hassle. Every time we drove past her she would give us a lovely smile. We didn't see too many other staff, but anyone whom we did see/speak to were lovely. Tom is a great host, easy to chat to but also leaves you to your own devices if wanted. He offers an array of activities should you want to explore the island. The decor in the villa was very fitting and beautifully thought out. We absolutely loved our stay & are very much looking forward to returning. Thanks guys! Poppy & Jordan x

Villas Sabai Jai - Eagle, Gecco and Turtle Villa offers free round-trip transfer from Mae Haad Pier, a 10-minute drive away. The villas are a self-catering but with a daily cleaning service included. Absolutely perfect! The villa is by far the most incredible place we have ever stayed in the whole of Asia. The views are breathtaking. When visiting Koh Tao before we could only dream of staying in this villa. The host Tom is lovely, always checking in and they will sort anything you need - is never too much. I cannot wait to stay here again. The villa has everything you need, we didn’t even want to leave to venture out.

Jamahkiri Dive Resort & Spa - SHA PLUS & Spa provides luxurious accommodation along Thian Og Bay on Koh Tao Island. It offers WiFi and pier transfers for free. This hotel is amazing. I planned on staying 4 nights and extended my stay to 7 nights when I got there. The resort is clean, very nice, with magnificent view of the ocean and Shark bay (great for off-shore snorkeling). Rooms are spacious, spotless clean and the view is the best you can have - directly on the ocean, with nothing in front - cannot top that! Due to a location on the cliff, the resort isn't in the town, but by scooter, shuttle or taxi it is a quick 10-15min drive to the center. There are also many stairs, but again - cliff position, so it is unavoidable. Staff is very nice. Mr. Nice at the reception desk will make your stay into a dream one, by helping out with every question or request you may have. Breakfast is generous and also the meals at the restaurant are really tasty. The prices are a bit high (also at the pool), but nothing extraordinary. Spa - I went to a Thai massage 2x - first one was AWESOME, but the second one very disappointing, so I guess it depends which therapist you get. If you are a scuba diver or you have always wanted to try - this is the place to do it. I did my Open Water Course here and the instructor and facilities are the best one can get. So, if you decide to do it, ask for Pierre and you will be in the best hands. Overall ... this resort got my hear the first second I have opened the balcony door and heard the ocean, and it has not disappointed.

Featuring a spa centre, Haadtien Beach Club is located in Ko Tao Island. Everything, love the private beach, you pretty much have all of sharks bay to your self and the other guests and it’s not a super busy resort, amazing landscape, great rooms, very modern and up kept, two amazing pools, and the breakfast is amazing! Plus the staff truly goes out of there way very very friendly and they get you what ever you need right away.

Situated in Koh Tao, a few steps from Shark Bay Beach, Rocky resort features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. Great location. We had a scooter so we enjoyed the hilly way there everytime we drove to or from the accommodation when we explored the island. Shark bay is directly a few steps below the resort. The beach has powder sand and a few meters out, is the snorkeling / diving spot. We saw turtles 🐢 Friendly and helpful staff. We rented a stand up paddle from them as well. Restaurant has nice options and nice view. Regarding our room, we thought something was wrong with the air condition, and asked the staff about it the next morning. We found out we didn't set the correct settings in the remote the first night. They adjusted the settings, and for the inconvenience, they offered us one free breakfast each (food and drinks) which was very nice. Air-condition was working fine the next days. Amazing view from the room terrace! Would have been nice to have a fridge to cool drinks and fruits in the room but anyway, the resort already has a restaurant below with cold beer, shakes etc too. So we ordered coffee / beers from the restaurant and we just brought it up to our terrace on some occasions. With a scooter, the location of Rocky Resort was great. 15 mins to the pier, and 10-20 mins to the east coast beaches like Tanote Bay. We woke up early and drove to Tanote Bay to see the sunrise and "cliff jump" from the rock. Around 5 mins drive, are a couple of streets with a lot of local restaurants, food stalls, convenience stores, fruit shake stalls. A really rice viewpoint is also just around 8 mins drive and a very short hike up. It's beautiful! We went there twice since it was so near too We enjoyed our stay very much!
