The landlady helped us with information about where is good thai food around and was so nice to lend us wine screw for our souvenir wine :) We encountered nice small nightmarket in five minutes walk distance. Also two shops 7-eleven are about five minutes far. There was quite a nice view to skyscrapers around, especially in night. It is not a centre of city, but still very convenient place. A bit difficult was to walk to hotel from metro station Ratchadapisek, as the street was narrow with no sidewalk. But this is the case of many Bangkok streets.
