We've been travelling for 7 weeks through South Africa and this was by far our favourite accommodation! The location was amazing, the view is wonderful and breathtaking. We especially loved the outside hot tub which you heat by wood, that was one of our main highlights. The heated blankets and gas heater is a must especially during the winter when we went. The fire place outside is very big and there are camping chairs already there for us to sit by. I also like that Patatsfontein supplied us with first 2 crates for wood with the price of our stay!

It had the most beautiful view, and it was just so refreshing staying there. The bed was super comfy and warm, the breakfast is delicious, and the location is great. This takes nothing away from our comfortable stay, just personally I'd have liked a more fluffy pillow or two, and a king-size bed.... that is a personal preference and has nothing to do with the excellent quality of the establishment.

All are build in a row, so no disturbance from others - the view from the Stoep is phantastic!! The cottage has all needed as self caterer, was clean and had comfy beds. Fotos and explanation on Booking are absolutely correct. Contact and communication with hosts are easy and very friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much and can highly recommend the Cottage.

We had booked for a night, and extended for one more :) The place is exceptionally peaceful, as the cottage lies in the middle of a olive oil and wine estate. The cottage has basic amenities (no TV, no Wifi), but this was the kind of retreat that we looked for. We would rate this as a 'real Cape Dutch cottage experience'. Host was super friendly. It was a very pleasant stay and I would recommend it! The camping area looked great too (we have also camped here before) which has a communal kitchen with everything you could need.
