He took us on a beaver exploration boat tour + night stargazing boat tour all for free and the passion and love for the environment he calls home is so evident! Be ready to leave all your worries on the doorstep and be immersed in a community of friendly people sharing spaces and stories. Also, it’s so clean and has everything you might need. Dinner bbq around the fireplace was a plus :) Would 100% recommend.

The completely ecclectic and colourful decor is visual eye candy (totally IG worthy)! The bathroom was modern, stunning and sparkling clean. The pillows, duvet and sheets were plush and soft. Lea was amazing! She answered all of our questions. She also gave helpful suggestions for breakfast and dinner alternatives when the restaurant was closed. Not only would I recommend this motel but I would also go back to stay in the different rooms and trailer :)

The yurt was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and stocked with everything you could need. The staff and owners are very friendly and hospitable. The lake is pristine and quiet. We felt very much at home and relaxed. We are sure to return for another week next year.
