Beautiful location right on the nile with beautiful views. Ghandi is amazing he is super knowledgeable and helpful. Really the most genuine man we met in Egypt. Stayed 2 days longer because aswan and this place was amazing. Met amazing people. Breakfast was awesome. We stayed in a tent on the roof which was super ocol- amazing views for sunset. He helped order cheap food every night and had awesome recommendations for things to do. Helped with tours and was up at 4am to make sure everyone got off OK to Abu simbel. His son was super cute and had a good time watching him watch the world cup! Really a cool spot to come. Nubian village is cool. It is an easy walk or cheap minivan to down town but we were so glad we stayed in this chill spot away from it all. The free tea was also amazing and heaps of toilets which always spotless

Boasting a garden, shared lounge, terrace and free WiFi, david hostel is situated in Aswan, 22 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum and 3.3 km... It was a homely environment. Accommodation was good.i personally recommend the tours provided by david. It was a friendly stay.

The accommodation provides evening entertainment and a shared kitchen.... This is a real gem of a hostel - the position outweighs everything else. Superb location and so lovely to be somewhere so beautiful and peaceful and to travel everywhere very cheaply by boat. The manager Rehab speaks fantastic English and is lovely and incredibly helpful. The other Nubian staff are also lovely. Don’t be put off by the basic shower - it’s hot with a great jet. Yousef the boat driver/helm is a cutie. Breakfast was good but no tea or coffee offered. Evening meal was simple and could be improved but it didn’t matter due to the location - the restaurant on the neighbouring island opposite the temple was great but try to avoid 8-9pm as that’s when the temple light show is on if you want a peaceful meal. Abu Simbel day trip was worth the drive. Visit Elephantine Island from Aswan and wander to the Green of the other side through the streets of the village - real rural Nubian life and well worth it. Also take a Felucca trip (about £5 or 200el per hour). Worth seeing the soul/market for the spice shops, real life and felafel making. Just a gem of a tranquil place to stay!

Mohamed Ramadan, he is the one managing the hotel and he is the best one not only because he is friendly and professional but he recommend you the best experience as well. The place is really nice well decorated peaceful, the food is really good and the place near the lake is the perfect one. They have to 2 boats to go to the temple and is a must do.

Situated in Aswan, just 23 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum, Nubian Farm Aswan features beachfront accommodation with a private beach area, a garden, a bar and free WiFi. The nature here is stunning, the family are so wonderful and friendly, organising our tours, helping us with everything we needed. Anything you need, you can just ask them and they will help you to feel comfortable and at home. Also fresh goat milk with our tea in the morning, so good!
