Nurlan and Eliza were always cheerful and helpful as was the owner Dima and his lovely sons. This was an unforgettable experience. I am glad I got to stay two nights, although could have easily stayed longer. P.S. Google maps did not find the route, but 2GIS navigation app does. From Ak Say village follow the signs to the neighbouring Feel Nomad yurt camp for 13 km. At the end you will also see a Remote sign. Phone reception cuts off when driving through the canyon but once you arrive there will be wifi.

This tent has a seating area, an outdoor dining area, lake views and a shared bathroom. The unit has 6 futons. We liked the camp and its unique location by the lake. Breakfast was good and we also ordered dinner which was delicious. The owner was very kind and helped us to reach Bokonbayevo to catch our marshrutka. The beach was clean and enjoyable. I would very much recommend a stay in the Yurt camp Meiman Ordo and we hope to come back one day.
