Set 34 km from Kaalvoet Vrou Statue, Sasi Africa Luxury Tented Bush Lodge offers accommodation with a patio, as well as an open-air bath and a bar. I loved just sitting on my deck of my glamping tent and listen to the wind in the trees and the birds. Tents were very comfortable, good bed, beautiful bathroom and I woke up on a cold morning where I made a fire and took a warm bath, a relaxing place to be. Staff is very kind. There’s one gamedrive per day included where nature is beautiful, there are no elephants but this means beautiful trees. You can book a drive to see rock art of earlier people. Food is very good, creative with great combinations of tastes and spices. We were sad to leave.

It beats all the resorts in the area including the fancier ones. I've stayed at the cavern and Alpine heath before and I liked this one better because of the stunning view of the mountain and the river. Nothing beats that
