I usually don't write so much for review, but this location is deserving of the time, because I enjoyed my stay. La Villa Saint Jean is an awesome location, best fit for everything I needed to make my trip memorable, central to all the best attractions, walking distance to dantokpa market, less than 1km to the Cotonou red star square statue, approximately 15 minutes to the airport 10minutes to the beach and shopping mall, 10 minutes to the Amazon statue through the longest graffiti mural in Africa. I can rate them above average on location and hospitality. However, if you're a non french speaker, you'll find it difficult navigating the area. For best experience, map out all your proposed tour sites, plan the itinerary and give a guide. As a plus for leisure, there's an open balcony at both levels, ideal for game night with friends/family ( unfortunately they have only 5rooms) I have to leave something out to raise your curiosity, else I'll continue, but a visit will convince you. Just two words: Great Location ! And I would add, great staff to help you enjoy your stay & perfect accessibility to go around Cotonou. The facility takes the extra mile to confirm your little stay requirement by phone days before arrival, even though the online communication was ongoing with day/hours delay. People there are professionals and very helpful. They will take the initiative to make your stay a smooth and pleasant one. You just need to communicate. I really wish they will have room for me when I next return to Cotonou. Also, the leader of the facility is hands-on, and can take initiative beyond your expectations. Lastly, the food suggested to me by the likable staff a the counter was beyond my expectations as well. I like that place very much!

Wish I could give this place a 10+! What a delightful inn! The staff is absolutely wonderful—friendly, professional, and so kind. They took care of everything I needed and connected me with a great driver who took me out to Ganvié, Abomey, and Ouidah. They also took care of my early am arrival and departure for the airport. My room was spotlessly clean with an excellent bed and shower. Food at their restaurant was delicious and well prepared. I loved my stay here.

Great spot! Big, clean rooms with comfy beds and mosquito nets. Our host was lovely and he was able to arrange for an early morning airport transfer and a day tour to Ganvie. The complimentary breakfast is simple but appreciated - we paid extra for eggs, which were super tasty! The location is great, everyone who works here is lovely, and there's a really cute dog.
