Owners very friendly. Breakfast excellent, breakfast room very well laid out , great choice of cereals, yoghurt , fruit, fruit juices etc. As well as cooked breakfast. Great location for walking into York

Beautiful victorian style building with lots of space and a four poster bed. Friendly welcome from Lisa who allowed an early check in and provided some priceless tourist advice with a map. Great breakfasts and spotlessly clean

Clean, comfy and cosy. Honestly the best stay on our trip., Nice bathroom and good beds. It was no problem to book an additional night to enjoy more of York. Not far from the city, but still in a quiet area. Would definetly stay here again

Barbican House is a quaint house very fitting with the town of York. The property is exceptionally clean and the room very cosy and comfortable with everything you need. Durga and his wife are very welcoming and accommodating hosts and the breakfast is a perfect way to start your day. Would highly recommend Barbican House to anyone wanting an authentic visit to York. Location is excellent.

the hosts are very nice and did go beyond to make our stay perfect. Everything so clean and decorated to a high standard. We highly recommend this place and we will stay there again.

    Hotel petit i amb un ambient molt familiar i acollidor. Els propietaris ens van atendre i van ser molt amables amb nosaltres des del primer minut, sempre disposats a ajudar-nos. Les habitacions són senzilles però molt còmodes, netes i amb tot allò necessari. L'ubicació és excel·lent: a uns 10 min a peu de la catedral de York i del casc antic. Sens dubte, un allotjament molt recomanable per a quedar-se a York. El tornaria a triar.
