We stayed in Room 5. Beautifully decorated, thoroughly cleaned, a fabulous nights sleep and breakfast was exceptional (Compliments to the Chef!!). Daryl was very welcoming, as were the front house staff through to housekeeping. You will not be disappointed when you stay here!

Set in South Shields, 800 metres from Sandhaven Beach and 11 km from Stadium of Light, South Shore Guest House offers accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. The accommodation was very central to everything. The hosts were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. We got an early check-in which was great as we'd been travelling from the night before.

Good location for an event we were attending at the Rugby Club. Very secure with coded entrance and key safe box. Spacious room, clean and comfy with towels and linen provided. Good sized en suite shower room. Great to have the option of a shared lounge/kitchen area as well. Plenty of places to eat/drink right on the doorstep.
