We stayed here for one night before our jungle trek. We booked our Medan airport to Bukit Lawang transport and the jungle trek with them. From the time of booking till we left the place; Brian and his team were extremely helpful. Sarah cooked delicious dinner for the night. The place is value for money and they even provide good breakfast. Our tour guide for the forest trek was Rosyid & his assistant Theo. They were absolutely amazing and the best throughout. I could complete my trek on the last day because of their motivation throughout. We can't recommend them enough. The food that they served during trek was also really good. Rosyid and Theo went out of their way to help a random guy during the trek who was unwell and made sure to give him the medicines and took extremely good care of him till he got better and help arrived. It didn't matter to him if the guy was part of our group or no and that shows how professional and caring they are. Magic tricks by Rosyid at the campsite was very entertaining. There was also Manto who cooked extremely delicious dinner and breakfast for us and helped with the river tubing. Would definitely recommend staying at Sumatra Thomas Leaf Monkey Guesthouse in Bukit Lawang.

Menempati bangunan yang berdiri sejak 2020, Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa di Bukit Lawang menawarkan taman dan kamar dengan WiFi gratis. Best place ever to chill and feel part of the jungle. I did not want to leave. The food is incredible and all the team are so friendly. Recommend to book your jungle trek also, we did 2 days which was perfect. Amazing experience and amazing spot. We spent five days in this paradise. The bungalow is really large and is surrounded by nature with an amazing terrace overlooking the sea. At night you fall asleep with the sound of the waves. Right in front of the bungalow is one of the most beautiful coral reefs on the island and at sunset everything becomes even more magical thanks to the unique colors and the passage of flying foxes (we also saw a manta ray jumping in front of our window). The place is certainly magnificent, but to make it unique are the two owners Borja and Yuyun who make you feel at home and pay a lot of attention to eco-sustainable tourism. They are also two very good divers (you can rent snorkling equipment) who will be able to advise you on the best experiences the island offers. Since it is not possible to withdraw cash in Banda Aceh province, you can wire them using Wise and they will withdraw the money for you. An unforgettable experience.

Mempunyai taman, teras, serta restoran, Juma cottages berlokasi di Tuktuk Siadong. Di guest house, setiap kamar dilengkapi balkon. We loved our stay here! Pino, his family and the staff were all so welcoming and lovely! We ended up staying here longer than expected. The rooms were very big, clean and a great balcony to chill on! Food in the restaurant was tasty, bike rental was easy and the bikes were in great condition. One of our favourite stops during our trip :)

Menghadap tepi laut, Romlan menawarkan akomodasi bintang 3 di Tuktuk Siadong dan mempunyai taman serta area pantai pribadi. We stayed for a total of 9 nights in Romlan; in two different rooms. Where to start with the things we liked? First of all, the staff of Romlan is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us with calling and getting to the local pharmacy to get some medicines for sickness (one of us got ill and they called the pharmacy that was closed due to the Sunday Service and they opened up the pharmacy for us). The food and drinks of their own restaurant were amazing and very tasty & variable; good price value as well! The location of Romlan is also good: the boat drops you off at their pier and all the things in Tuk Tuk are on walking distance. The views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing. If you want to hire a scooter bike you can without signing for anything and you don't have to fuel up the tank (when you get the bike, the tank is full). A free refill water station is available and also some tips & tricks about the surroundings of Romlan and the transport options from Lake Toba to other places like Berastagi or Medan. Definitely recommended to book your stay at Romlan when you are looking for a place to stay in Tuk Tuk.

Fun Family Guest House n Jungle Tour berlokasi Bukit Lawang. Guest house bintang 2 ini menawarkan dapur bersama dan ruang penyimpanan koper. Staf akomodasi dapat mengatur transfer bandara. Accommodation with a great view and a great restaurant right across the river. The owner, Putra, was very helpful and positive. There was nothing he couldn't arrange. I especially recommend going on a jungle trek with him because he definitely knows what he's doing.
