It was probably the most beautiful and the most chic hotel room I have ever stayed in. The hotel is located in the historical centre of Košice, and at the walking distance from the main station. For my plans in the city was perfect.

Entrez Apartments 4 - City centre is situated in the Košice Old Town district of Košice, 800 metres from Cathedral of St. Elizabeth, 1.4 km from Kosice Train Station and 1.4 km from Steel Arena. Very modern, spacious and clean apartment. Great location right in the old town. Very friendly, helpful and responsive host. Great value. Convenient parking at the building.

Offering a garden and garden view, András penzión is set in Krásnohorské Podhradie, 49 km from Dobsinska Ice Cave and 1.2 km from Krasna horka. We went to the festival and stayed at the place instead of sleeping in a tent with the kids. It was convenient - and beautiful place just under the castle. Owner really lovely, helpful, lots of info about the area available. Great garden, outdoors, kids loved it. We really enjoyed it there.

Surrounded by the Slovak Paradise National Park, Penzión Thamasy is situated in a picturesque village of Spišské Tomášovce. It offers free parking and free WiFi available in all areas. The owner is a really nice lady who truly cares about the place and the guests. We were able to communicate both in English and Polish! She also provided us with all information we could've wanted about the Slovak Paradise and the other attractions in the vicinity of the national park. The size and the quality of breakfasts were exceptional! Although I recommend visiting the Slovak Paradise in autumn, instead of August, since the waterfalls aren't dried out then.

Offering a terrace and garden view, Privat Milan is located in Hrabušice, 26 km from Dobsinska Ice Cave and 33 km from Spis Castle. Beautiful house, very firendly and helpful hosts, and the national park nearby is nearby. I can definitely recommend staying here :-)

Penzión Mizuna is set in Hrabušice. Free WiFi is available. At the guest house, all rooms come with a wardrobe and a TV. Breakfast was not included in the cost (this was known to us in advance) but a 10 minutes walk into another apartment allowed it. Breakfast was excellent (from household chicken eggs) with many choices. Kitchen was shared but it was known before, there was ample room in the fridges and the kitchen was OK and well furnished. The location of the apartment is excellent if you want to go hiking into the Slovakian Paradise, available on foot simply. This is an excellent value for the money. Pension is in a very friendly environment, a typical Slovakian village with some good restaurants.

44 km from Spis Castle in Helcmanovce, Penzion Zlaty Orol provides accommodation with access to wellness packages and steam room. The air-conditioned accommodation is 17 km from Kojsovska Hola. The wellness centre was great, Finnish, steam and infrared sauna, whirlpool, swimming pool and a cold water tub, which we had all to ourselves for a couple of hours. The quiet rooms, with comfortable beds, decent enough sized bathroom, great restaurant downstairs, with a wide range of dishes including Slovak specialties, beer and wine. Breakfast had a reasonable selection and there was plenty of that.
